About
Named for its spectacular views across to Cardigan Island just 200 metres offshore, this unique Farm Park which also overlooks the Teifi estuary and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is located on a picturesque headland in the southern part of Cardigan Bay. The island itself is a private nature reserve owned by The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. Opened in 1993, the Farm Park is situated on part of our farm, Clyn-yr-Ynys. Our family has farmed here over 5 generations and counting, and we are very much a family run business. Come and say hello to our farm animals; enjoy our fenced clifftop walk to the headland from where you can watch the seals that breed in the caves below the Farm Park cliffs or spot our frequent dolphin visitors; browse in our gift shop, with a selection of toys and books as well as local and Welsh crafts; children will enjoy our indoor and outdoor play areas; have a bite to eat in our café and enjoy the scenery; or stay a little longer at our campsite.

    Amazing camping trip!
When we arrived what appeared to be the owner was very chilled out and said we could chose anywhere to pitch up (we had an electric pitch) he also said after hours when it closed we were welcome to go into the farm park and use the playground and walk around to the seals and see the animals etc. This was the best bit for us as the kids loved it and it was a nice gesture. Also, entry to the farm was included in the duration of our stay. We had an amazing couple of days away. 50p to use the showers, which last around 7 minutes. Toilets and washing up facilities. Site doesn't look overly big, which was nice, and when we went, it was the bank holiday weekend, and it still felt fairly quiet. Only very minor downside if we had to have one is there is only two toilets and two showers for ladies and the same for men so if it was full it could be a pain having to wait around or feeling rushed but we never had a problem when we used them. We noticed the toilets and showers appeared to have been cleaned throughout the day and couldn't fault anything. We used the cafe a few times and all the staff were lovely and the food was nice and fresh. This is a lovely place to stay and we can't wait to return.

    Absolute must visit
Gorgeous place, pleasantly surprised as it’s very cheap to enter. Lovely animals for children to see and feed, very safe fenced walk around the cliff tops- quite a long walk which was lovely. We saw a seal which was great to see. Took a picnic and ate on the benches up there but they do have a cafe which looked clean and the food I saw looked nice. The playground is excellent, the kids really enjoyed it. It was really enjoyable to take a safe cliff top walk with my son who’s a little on the wild side and not have to worry he would run off the end!

    Fantastic
This is such a magical place. Lots of things to see and do. The main attracted for me to walking to the end of the cliffs and spotting seals which we have seen on all 3 of our visits! The park is huge and will keep the kids entertained for hours. Cafe is a really good size with lots of room for children to run around without bothering other people. Staff are friendly and entry is really reasonably priced!

    Day out
In the area on holiday with a three year old so thought we would give it a go. Really well priced, great selection of animals and we were able to see seals in the wild from the cliffs which the little one loved. Had lunch in the cafe which was nice-good selection and well priced. Lots of indoor activities for little ones and the outdoor play area was great. Would definitely come back!

    Amazing day out
Absolutely amazing place to visit, met a friend here and we both have toddlers (21 months) and they absolutely loved it! And so did the adults, an amazing value for money day and the views are just spectacular! We spotted 4 seals on our visit! Lovely cafe with homemade food, amazing play park with the best view and just a perfect family day out! Would recommend to anyone.

    Excellent place to visit.
Really enjoyable time here. The animals are.great. we love feeding the sheep, goats and chickens. Other animals less accessible for safety reasons which is fine. The walk ways are challenging for the less.able but was good fun and good exercise. My daughter loved it. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the service excellent amd friendly. Plenty to do on the children's play area. Altogether a lovely place to visit.

    Brilliant day - lovely place
We had a brilliant day here. Lovely scenery and facilities. The family have done such a great job with the cafe/indoor area as well as the outdoor play area and animal enclosure. Plenty of picnic benches and facilities to enjoy the day here. We took our own picnic and treated ourselves to the delicious homemade cakes on offer - well worth it. The toilets were very clean which they often are not in places like this. The indoor area had legs play blocks, ride on machines, pool table and table football for a small charge. All prices were reasonable and competitive. It's nice to visit such a great place and not feel robbed in the process. The owners are clearly not greedy and provide a great service. Also, for any worried parents of toddlers. It is well fenced off and safe. Generally pushchair friendly, a little bumpy at times but easy enough to manage.

    Rude staff member
Beautiful place been many times. Unfortunately this time I had a negative and rude reaction towards my dog while I was paying. My dog was just stood with me and she rudely told me to get her away while she changed the till roll I was paying the gentleman at the time. If you don't like dogs don't allow them in.

Great place to visit for a few hours
I remember going here years ago before I had children so decided to go again as we were staying in the area. It's a lovely place to spend the day well priced entry and 90p animal feed which my children certainly enjoyed. We made are way around the coastal path to seal spot but unfortunately there wasn't many to be seen. Play park is lovely and animals are very friendly obviously used to the visitors.

Enjoyed a lovely few hours at the farm ( two 50 something females). Met and fed the animals and then walked round the cliffs seal spotting. The views were gorgeous and we did spot a few. Admission was very reasonable. The shop was well laid out. Lovely looking play area for children and the cafe was busy although we didn’t use it ourselves. It really was the best of both worlds for a day out and a good way to get close to nature.

Breathtaking, stunning . It didn’t rain yeah I was mesmerised with the view. I have never been in such clean toilets ( apart from my own ) .The animals were hysterical funny as they have long poles for you to put the food in and it goes directly to them. The pigs just opened their mouths around the poles and gobbled up the food. All the animals were happy . I loved the goats . Now I am 59 years old and hubby 55 but we both enjoyed the park immensely . It was quiet but we loved it . We stayed here for quite a few hours . I did buy 5 bags of food as we feed the animals on the way back from the walk . My O my the views are absolutely breath taking and there are great clear signs All the way around the walk . This is an absolute must for any one holidaying . We will be back. Even though we had to travel over an hour from our holiday home . It’s an Absolutely outstanding farm. Everything was clean. The cafe The views the clean toilets Wow !

An excellent day out for all the family. The facilities are well kept and you can see things are looked after and maintained to a high standard. Very reasonable admission of 4.90 an adult, children under two are free. My top tip for your visit is to buy multiple bags of food from the shop (they are just 90p each) we bought only one (having been to other locations where you can feed the animals and never ending up using it all) but here the animals are extremely food orientated and came bounding over to us (even great big pigs, which made us chuckle). We couldn’t help thinking we could have done with four or five bags of food but didn’t want to walk all the way back to the shop as we were half way around at the time. The animals are all very friendly and well looked after. The views are spectacular, and on the right day you might see some seals (we didn’t but they had been spotted earlier on in the day). All good value so far. The gift shop is a touch pricey and the cafe isn’t overly reasonable but the quality of the food is pretty good. Staff are approachable and happy to help. The owner was extremely attentive who approached us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our visit and to point out where some of the facilities were. Smashing outside play area of the children (ours is only 8 weeks old so too young) but once more quality through and through. We will be back. Marvellous. Thank you for a lovely visit.

We visited Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park on the windiest day last week.

Honestly the views themselves are incredible then a bonus of getting to feed farm animals makes it even better! AND if you follow the walk down and along the cliffs you may get lucky with seeing the seals and maybe even dolphins. We got to see the seals which was amazing ! And lots of Canadian geese flying around. Honestly loved the seals and the views !

I ate a slice of Victoria sponge in the cafe which was soooo yum! The Welsh don’t hold back on the butter cream and I think that’s how it should be! The staff were so lovely and very chatty too.

The older man (don’t wana be rude about age but don’t know their names as we got served by younger bloke on entry and older bloke and his wife on exit) and he gave us advice on places to visit etc which was so nice when we don’t fully know what’s around when on holiday! Really nice people!

Friendly coastal cliff top farm with animals , play area and stunning sea views. A good cafe (delicious millionaire’s shortbread) with lovely gifts in the shop. Fabulous spot with a good chance of spotting Atlantic grey seals on your gentle cliff top walk. Useful and interesting information boards about wildlife, the farm and the history of the area enhance the experience.Incredible value at only £4.90 per adult. We’d love to return with our grandchildren.

We arrived mid afternoon on a day with sunshine and showers. We have been before so knew what to expect and were not disappointed this time either.
We had a lovely cuppa and slice a cake in the cafe before exploring the play areas, inside and out proved popular with our 4 year old! We then met and fed the animals and had a lovely walk down to see the seals, this was one hek of an experince! Wow wow wow!! Thank you so much for a fabulous afternoon. Only slight thing, please don't start vacuuming when customers are trying to relax and enjoy a cuppa in peace after a long walk, very off putting and made me feel rushed to leave although it was 4.30pm and you advertise you close at 6pm.

Easily the most beautiful farm we have ever visited. The scenery is incredible, great selection of farm animals to see and feed and there’s a fun playground at the end for younger children too. Wonderful place to spend a few hours if you’re in the area and reasonably priced too, I highly recommend!
