We had a brilliant morning with the guys. We learnt camping tips, how to light a fire, how to sleep in a hammock. The popcorn and hot chocolate was the highlight for me. The grown up kids loved the candle competition. A great morning out and got the kids out of the house and some fresh air.

we hired 2 double kayaks as a family of four, two teenage girls and their parents. we had no problems and the staff were incredibly helpful. perhaps there could have been a little more direction, but we quite liked the way there wasnt much faffing and they didnt waste our time, it was just a fun and exciting experience!

I highly recommend the Moylegrove coasteering sessions offered by Cardigan Bay Active. I booked it for my 13 year old and his friend and they had a ball. Enough of a thrill without being too daunting, and it was led by a lovely man (described by my boys as "a bit of a dude"). High jumps into the sea off... More

We booked with Cardigan Bay Activity for several adventures in August with our son. Our first activity was Coasteering which is certainly not for the fainthearted, a truly amazing experience climbing across beautiful coastlines, many thanks to Jack our guide who was excellent. Our other activities was Sea Kayaking and White Water Tubing, again truly amazing experiences, especially sea kayaking,... More

Booked for my family (myself, wife and 2 lads - 13 & 8 - 8 is minimum age I think) to go coasteering near Ceibwr/Moylgrove. What an utterly superb experience. The 2 instructors/guides, Chris & Rhidian were excellent. Made us feel relaxed, yet safe, and conducted themselves with professionalism, but with a little bit of humour. I never felt at... More

We arrived for a taster session and were taken out on the river Cardigan in canoes. I would definitely advise this before embarking on the longer canoe trip with younger children as they then knew what to expect. We booked in for the river canoe trip the day after. Great staff and a special mention goes to our guide who... More

I decided to book Coasteering for all the family (Dad aged 56, myself aged 40 and our two boys 12 and 9). On booking I was assured it was a family friendly coasteer as you can also book a more adventurous one. This is defintely something I would recommend doing when in Cardigan. After a mishap with the booking, which... More

The Teifi river up stream of Cardigan, towards Cilgerran, is slow, shallowish with a small rapids section, set in a beautiful wooded area and a gorge. the actual canoeing takes about 2 1/2 hrs minimum. There were several canoes (family groups mainly). Our family group were complete novices, one canoe had people in who had done something similar before -... More

Signed up for coasteering (Adventure Beyond who run the CBA activities) a week in advance. Turned up on the day, twenty minutes prior to trip start time. Another group of 8 turn up, then 2 more arrive. Trip leader insistent that my family (me and 2 kids)...must have the wrong day/time/company etc... Like we didn't triple check the email booking... We were very lucky with our trip and managed to have two guides between two of us, Jack and Rhydian. The sea was like a mill pond, but having not sea kayaked before, the conditions were perfect. Good quality equipment, chatty and friendly guides. Highly recommended and ready to try sea kayaking again on some rougher seas.
