Great views

It is great for the start of a good walk and also for those who are interested in trains as they can stand for hours just waiting for the trains to come.

Walk this bridge into Barmouth at least once every year. Today we were very impressed to see maintenance taking place on a few damaged boards. Was nice not to be run over today by bikes being a little out of season.

Great walk across this bridge over the estuary. Fab views of the Cader mountain range. We walked the full length and ventured into Fairbourne, found a stunning bakers there, stopped for lunch and ventured back along the bridge to Barmouth. We also did a similar journey via train on our way to aberystwth which was wonderful.

A good long walk (though you can turn back at your choosing). I have visited many times but never tire of the views up the estuary or into the hills, which change with the tides and the seasons.

A spectacular bridge that crosses the estuary. It is very recognisable and you get great views when you have a train ride across it.

The walk across the Barmouth brodgeis great. Great views of the Mawdach Estury and the surrounding mountains. A bit windy but it is exciting when a train comes over too!
