This castle and grounds always fascinates with plenty of interesting rooms to look at and for children to get involved as well. The grounds are well kept and make for interesting walks. Well preserved and looked after, a good place for a short break.

Bodelwyddan Castle is a great place. Great shows each night. Extremely large choice of food. However we would not go again during winter months as it was so cold and we still wore coats in the indoor bar and the caberet hall. The grounds are great with lots of lovely walks. There is a lot of activities you can join... More

Food very good, did not use pool but outdoor activities if wanted. Staff friendly and helpful, my main complaint is that the entertainment in the evening does not cater to seat all the residents, so if you want a seat get in early or stand.

Worth seeing are the beautiful paintings. A walk around the gardens and woodland. Visit the bird hide and watch the wild life.

Visited while staying at the Warner Hotel. Spent an enjoyable afternoon walking round the building and surrounding gardens.

Visited whilst staying at the hotel. Lots to see and helpful staff to answer any questions. The café is also very good and a lot cheaper than the Warner café.

Restored by crafts men, A visit to make you wonderous, of the way of life of the landed gentry. Not that all inhabitants of the castle enjoyed the treasured way of life, the serfs and workers did not have the same gift of life. Certainly worth a visit.

This is a not to miss experience, and most parts are accessible for the less able. The picture gallery has some very interesting works of art, with a magnificent veiw of the marble church from its windows. Lots of interesting history surrounding films, toys and dress.

Portraits eyes seemed to follow you as you walked past. Main problem was the dusty atmosphere which badly affected my breathing so we didn't go all way round.
