Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I imagine it's better in late Spring/Summer but for £7 x3 people i don't think it offered value for money in late October. Some parts were too wet to go through and other areas were somewhat in need of a tidy up. It didn't take long to walk round. A reduced admission price out of season would seem in order.

Absolutely charming gardens (dog friendly too!) It's free if you are an RHS member and only £7 entry if not. They have a little library where you can look through books whilst you enjoy a tea/coffee. Very relaxing and beautiful spring flowers. The owners and gardeners were very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend in you're in the area.

Although a relatively small garden it has some surprises in store if you explore the pathways and find the pool and "beyond". There are many places to enjoy a picnic for there are no refreshments available. NOTE Toilets are in car park

Beautiful gardens, quiet and peaceful, lots of lovely areas to explore. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the planting and views. Also great for cool shade on a very hot day!

Such a hidden gem. Beautiful, tranquil and full of surprises. Teaming with bees, butterflies and birds due to the planting.

A truly beautiful garden, well worth a visit.
A huge garden with so many interesting areas that have been thoughtfully planted to reflect the landscape.
Can’t wait to return.

A haven of tranquillity, a riot of colour even this late in the season, full of the sound of bees, this magical garden is tucked away from the sea breezes in a world of its own. Winding paths lead you through each glorious mini-garden to the next, until you find yourself at the lake at the bottom of the “In Between”, and over a bridge into “The Beyond”. We could have spent all day sitting in the swing seat under the trees… As Monty Don says, “Go and see it!”

This garden is basically the grounds of a small house in West Wales, that said it does stretch across a wide area. It is reached by a narrow lane off a narrow road!
There are lots of small garden ‘rooms’ containing many plants, flowers, trees etc all dotted with sculptures. Many plants were still flowering and all the plants looked in superb condition. It was interesting to walk round although we did not see it at its best as it was pouring with rain. It would be worth returning when the weather was better.

Set in stunning scenery, an impressive garden morphing seamlessly into the surrounding countryside whilst retaining a talented plantswoman’s eye for the unusual.
We visited at the end of August when there was plenty of late summer interest still developing.
Good paths around the house and the more formal areas, rougher in the wilder areas as you’d expect.
This garden is full of surprises, plants you would not believe could be grown outside at this latitude.
If you want immaculate lawns and pristine pathways go to Dyffryn Gardens, or Chatsworth.
