The citedal is located in the central part of the city with a spectacular outside view but inside is not very attractive. Although it has been renevated it still needs lots of repair to be a good tourist attraction.

An unmissable landmark in the middle of Shiraz. Contains a small museum and a Persian garden inside.

The building is massive, which is imposant from the outside. Inside their is a garden, nothing special mostly the same trees which gave a pleasant shade. Not more to see on the inside “square”. The antique museum and shop is the only thing I liked...More

The old fort is nice to see from outside and provides a good impression of how former persian forts might have looked like. Unfortunately, many rooms inside are used for administration only
