We went here many times looking at days gone by and out ways of living.. The Shand house I was told is sold and closed.. as are many other laces now due to changes in money, values and historical stuff.

We have visited this house many times. Once I took my dad who lives there and had never been. He loved it. Just beautiful. Overlooking Lake Pisiquid!

We were told the house fell into disrepair and was shut down. We only learned this after driving all the way from Truro. Their voicemail says open daily except Tuesday and Wednesday. Sad.

My only complaint about my visit to Windsor is that this museum, which is widely advertised and recommended was not open during the early afternoon of a mid-September Saturday, when one would have expected it to be open.
