I recall getting excellent bread from this historic bakery but, sadly, a fire has destroyed the building. It will definitely be closed for the summer of 2016. I do not know whether they will rebuild.

That place is amazing. The guided tour by the miller is very instructive and impressive. We could not believe how much of a technical and artistic feat milling flour is. The area itself is also gorgeous. It was wild rose season and it smelled so...More

If you're interested in how flour was made using a grist mill and water wheel go see this museum. The building has been completely rebuilt and it works beautifully. The mill is also furnished with antiques from the last 100 years or so and you...More

We bought a loaf of the cheese bread and the cranberry and nut bread. Although they were a bit pricey (expected at a small, local mill and bakery), they were both delicious and a really nice treat while on vacation.
