The total time spent for the parking lot to the top and back was 7 hours. The hike is manageable for most fitness levels. The first portion is a moderately steep climb on a well maintained path. The middle portion is fairly flat to rolling through the forest. The last hour is very steep up boulders and through the stream... More

Apparently the certo torre is a lot harder to see than the more famous Fitz-Roy. Hence if you have a choice try to do it on the clearest day. I's a 3.5 km walk from El Chaltén with a bit of uphill buth rather easy.

We trekked this route on the first and last day we were in El Chalten. It's a very easy walk and you can do it in 2-2:30hrs. Once at the Mirador, the view is just stunning and you will not want to leave!

If you're going to el chalten you can't miss this 3h walk. Easy trekking, the trails are well signed. Impossible to get lost. And very rewarding view of the laguna torre.

Trails could be marked better. Switchbacks would be nice instead of steep climbs. Assortment of treks for all levels. And the views are breath taking.

If you go to the cute, little town of El Chalten, most likely you do that for it many hiking opportunities and Mirador del Torre is one of the easiest and most beautiful, especially on a clear, sunny day. At the end of the hike the view of Fitz Roy is breathtaking and it is a view and a hike... More

Some of the more relaxing hiking routes not as steep as other, this is well worth the hike for the views - it can get pretty windy though so take plenty of layers just in case coming back down we experienced winds of upto 80km per hour

It is a beautiful and easy hike. About 2h30 to 3 hours round trip. Going through the woods and then the beautiful view on Fitz Roy is waiting for you. Along the way other beautiful views of the town and of the valley going to laguna del desertio.

Well worth the visit. The views of the lake, mountains, snow and glaciers out of this world. Some parts of the hike were challenging

We turned back just a half a kilometer short of the finish due to high winds, but the terrain was stunning. The hike walks up from the town, and you see the entire town from above as you walk out. Passing through woods and meadows, the trail arrives at a denuded meadow for the last kilometer. Beautiful!
