Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This sublime hyke is not for beginners, for the path tends to fade into marshes and streams, deep woods and slopes fo all sorts. Yet, if you dare take the left hand path on your way to Pliegue Tumbado; you´re in for a real treat. Few to none dare walk these paths, and the scenery is something out of fairytale folklore. I revisited The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and other role playing atmospheres during my lonesome walk to Laguna Toro. Three Thumbs Up.

We hiked for 6 days / 5 nights around Mt. Fitzroy and Cerro Torre and Laguna Toro was our last stop. We hiked up to Winds Pass which was rigorous but worth the effort. The hike is an adventure with a zip line and a river crossing. On our ascent, we passed Tunel Glacier amongst others to reach Winds Pass were we saw the Southern Continental Ice Field. This is an other worldly vista point and it is one of our most spectacular hiking highlights.

Gorgeous spot to relax in the sun and maybe eat your lunch. If cold water doesn't bother you, the waters look so inviting.

Laguna Toro can be done as a day hike, or part of an unchallenging, 3 day circuit that also goes to Laguna de Los Tres. I was there in the end of March. It was chilly, so people were largely staying in their tents. It was cloudy, so the views were crap. And the hike to the Laguna was flat, through a forest, and lacking views. Chalten was redeemed after doing the Huemel Circuit. Loma de Pliegue Tumblado is a WAY better day hike, though definitely more challenging. If you are fit, go for the latter.

I trying to plan hiking both Fitz Roy and Cerro Torres trek and the Huemul circuit and wondering is there a path from between the two hikes without going back to El Chalten which will save a day. I just cant find any information and assuming it’s not possible.

Hola Glenda, todos los campamentos dentro del Parque Nacional son gratuitos y libres (No tenés electricidad, Sí letrina). Con respecto a tus otras preguntas, no sabría decirte, pero podés leer los comentarios de los que se quedaron allí. Saludos
