She explained what I could see inside. Museum used to be a private home. Entrance fee is 5 dirams. It was not crowded when I began my tour. Every room has interesting things to admire and take photos for: Ceramics, Pictures, Rooms with some mannequins, library, spiral staircase, etc. There is a small toilet near the Entrance Door. It got crowded when I was leaving as buses of tourists arrived.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 17 October 2023

It was certainly my favorite spot in Sidi Bou Said, second only to walking through the vibrant streets adorned with colorful doors. The entrance ticket to Dar El Annabi is 5 Dinars, which includes a complimentary tea. For me, the main attraction was the entire house; it was a delightful immersion into the past. Exploring how people lived, from the prayer room to the study, and the cozy places to escape the sun, all contributed to the charm. The terrace offered a captivating view, while the small details, such as the paintings and books, added to the experience.I concluded my visit with a break in the shade, savoring the glass of tea away from the tourist crowds.Visited February 2024Written 22 February 2024

Beautiful large house of a wealthy family (seems the patriarch was a cardiologist with his clinic and library in the back). Spend half an hour to walk through all the rooms and enjoy the beautiful view from the roof terrace. Many details are so interesting to look at. Be wary of the dude at the exit distributing the small flowers like a present of the house and then chasing you down the road for money….;-)Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 28 July 2024

An incredible place, with entrance fee a mere pittance: 5 TD. Although the woman who took my money scowled at me, she later served two glasses of included mint tea with a smile so go figure. I was the only tourist on a weekday lunch visit.
I could have lingered for another hour inspecting all the details… a beautiful place with an incredibly relaxing vibe. There’s printouts in different languages including English.

Venturing into the Dar el Ennebi Museum is akin to stepping into the intimate quarters of Tunisia's rich history. This former abode of a prominent family offers visitors an unmatched glimpse into a luxurious and authentic lifestyle. As you weave through the corridors, you'll be met with a unique blend of timeworn artifacts and more recent pieces, some of which might evoke the warm nostalgia of bygone days. It's a delightful paradox, witnessing objects from one's childhood nestled within a museum setting. After journeying through this tapestry of history, make your way to the rooftop. There, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view that encapsulates the beauty and essence of the surroundings. A visit to Dar el Ennebi isn't just about the past; it's a rendezvous with memories, culture, and unparalleled vistas.

I really liked this enchanted parenthesis. The atmosphere, the welcome, the beauty and the freshness of the place. The free tour is pleasant, the mint tea break in the patio very pleasant, ending with the terraces with a breathtaking 360° view. The owners made the effort to leave the house furnished with a few wax figures in period costume to make the atmosphere more realistic. The background music adds a little extra to the atmosphere.

A beautiful traditional house in Sidi Bou Said. Although it was a shame that the lady at the entrance was not interested at all to let you feel welcome, or helpful in directing or telling something about the place or it’s history.

We weren't planning on a trip whilst on holiday but was offered this for free due to the terrible weather a few days before. This house is such a beautiful and peaceful building in glad I got a chance to visit.
The stunning building gives a lovely insight to how life was like and that you are able to go right to the roof and see such a beautiful view. There's more I can say but it wouldn't do it justice but it's certainly worth a visit!
