Friendly staff. Aquariums. Interesting facts about local wildlife. Several works of taxidermists. Nice gift shop. It was a nice FREE surprise.

This is a hidden gem right in Jasper, AR and it's FREE. Parking is limited and is handicap accessible. It's operated by the State Game and Wildlife agency and has 100's of exhibits to learn more about the Arkansas wildlife. The had several live aquariums...More

Does not take long once inside yet they have one great taxidermist by the looks of the wildlife in place. Interesting & good information on the area & what to do.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but is filled up inside with some wonderful wildlife mounts and displays. Plus it's free! Stop in and check it out.

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of artifacts and exhibits at this little side-of-the-road wildlife museum. We saw a 15 minute video of the Arkansas mountains and river gorges. Lots of stuffed animals with corresponding tracks, scat, and habitats. Well worth an hour if...More

The staff was friendly. We picked up some info about the area and looked through the museum. There was also a small gift shop.

Gives you a lot of good information about the animals in the area. They have maps and knowledgeable people who can help you out with what ever you're looking for in the Ozarks. Good for adults and kids.
