We have been traveling for one year and had our WORST experience with COLQUE TOUR on a 2 day trip from Uyuni to San pedro de atacama. 1) SAFETY issue: There are no safety belts in their 4X4. The driver was going too fast and crashed into a wall af ice destroying the front of the car, hopefully nobody was... More

Colque tours can be the cheapest one, but it is also the worst. The owner is a rude guy, they don't care about safety, the cars are old... well, I just do not reccomend at all. if you are going so far, think well and choose another one! And don't forget to ask for oxigen in your car, they are... More

End of March 2011, we did a three days trip through Salar de Uyuni with Colque Tours. Unfortunately the car was in pretty bad shape and on our last day on tour, a wheel just fell off while driving and our car flipped! Fortunately all six tourists and the driver weren't badly hurt, but it was still pretty dangerous and... More

Going into one of these 3 day tours across southern Bolivia is going to be harsh no matter what company you go with. The accommodations are tiny shacks run by Bolivian families. Some have no water, no electricity, but that's half the fun! We were in a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 and had no problems with our car. Our driver,... More

I wouldn't exactly recommend Colque Tours though we where lucky with our driver; he was pretty quiet, but very friendly and, most importantly: he never drank driving - yes, that happened with other drivers of the same operator. We rode an old jeep, but it was ok, we had Bob Marley Songs to sing to ;-) I have to say... More

I booked a 3day 4WD tour from San pedro de atacama to Uyuni (which was probably overpriced due to it being the busy season and the fact i was in san pedro) which cost $ 120USD. The guide if you can call him that said all but 2 words to us for the entire 3 days. The 4WD was falling... More

It was a fun trip. You see different laguns, the geysirs,...and of course the salar de Uyuni. I started from San Pedro de Atacama, 3 days, until Uyuni (you can go back to San Pedro on the fourth day). I payed 60.000 CLP, though you can get it about 5.000 cheaper if you find a group and negotioate. We were... More

Don´t go for Colque Tours! Bad trip, exaggerated prices and very poor car + driver. Met quite a few people who said the same. Uyuni, however, was awesome.
