We arrived there early in the morning to catch the sun rising over the lagoon and watch the mountain and water change colour which was incredible. The amount of flamingos was fantastic; just beautiful.

The Red Lake is so called due to the colour created by droppings from the many thousands of flamingos which inhabit this waterway. The views are amazing and you can move around various parts of the lake to get a different perspective.

Visited the lagoon whilst on the trip to Uyuni. The lagoon is unspoilt, with flocks of flamingos dotted across it. Although there were quite a few tourists there. Visit.
