Beautiful to visit, well worth it BUT need to be a reasonable swimmer. Went on a day with a bit of wind and tide, which was a challenge for another tourist who clearly didn't swim often - make sure you're comfortable navigating waves, rocks and...More

High tide was tuff for over 65's but well worth it. A cut head could not put me off. Beautiful experience. Will not do again if only operated by one resort!

Went on a sunny day with calm wave at low tide and it was amazing! Definitely over priced but still worth it. I’d recommend to check and compare the price of tours as it seems to vary depend on accommodations. Mine was charging 12.5k vut...More

The boat trip in August is a big disappointment, because there is no beam. There is not much to see and the trip by White grass Resort is much too expensive. Forget it.

Great boat trip to the Blue Cave. Also the snorkelling outside the Blue Cave was fantastic loads of small colourful fish.

We loved the blue Cave and loved even more that we were the only 3 in there. No big tourist crowds in Vanuatu, especially on Tanna! I will say this, I think to get the most contrast it is best seen in sunlight as this...More

This was a truly beautiful cave to swim in. The water is really blue and because of it's isolated location there's never many people there at once. We went on a cloudy day so I can't imagine how vivid the blues would be if it...More

The boat trip to the cave was lovely in itself as the coastline was rugged and we saw many fishermen in their outrigger canoes. the cave was amazing, the colour of the water was so beautiful and it was a really memorable experience.

It's readily accessible by snorkellers, but we entered the cave at depth, towards the end of a scuba dive. What an amazing environment to surface into. Beautiful, blue clear water, little fish, an echo of the waves and otherwise, silence. Incredibly peaceful.

We booked our trip through the Whitegrass Resort. It was about $90 per person. We combined it with the snorkeling on turtle reef, which I believe was a bit extra.
