We went with family to Moremi and Khwai on a mobile safari for 3 days/2 nights, and it was truly magical and an unforgettable memory! We had the most amazing wildlife sighting - multiple lion prides and many cubs. The guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating of our interests, and the camping staff were also kind, friendly and made our visit really special. Best of all, they are extremely affordable and flexible on arranging dates and trip itineraries, which was extremely helpful as we had a quickly changing schedule. They came through when we were short on options, and I am very grateful. I very highly recommend Temogo!

Spent about 4 days in the Maun area and were in a pinch to experience Moremi Game Park as our 4x4 would just not be capable enough to get to the park entrance and thru the park without some difficulties. We contracted thru our hotel to book a full day game drive with Temogo Safari and Charles, our driver and guide for a price that was very impressive. Tim, the operator/owner, was a pleasure to work with and the company was very timely and organized from pick up at our hotel in Maun to drop off at our hotel. We had a very experienced guide in Charles who put us on to tons of animals and a lion experience with cubs that we will never forget. Also to note, they had a great breakfast and lunch for us with everything that you could want. When we go back, we will definitely be looking up Tim, Charles and Temogo Safari! Thank you for Taylor and Katie from the USA

Tim the owner bent over backwards to ensure that everyone was satisfied. I went on two trips with this company. Moremi and a bokoro boat trip. They were both excellent. Water and lunch were good. Thanks for a great experience! We changed the boat trip to more bot and less hiking and they were totally flexible. Great service all around!

We had a boat trip with Temogo and our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable, showing us many interesting things, we were told not to be disappointed if we didn't see many if any animals as obviously they can't guarantee there will be any, but we were in luck first of all we saw quite a few elephants by the river which was a glorious sight and then further down a crocodile we then saw cows and horses by the river, then we saw a Hippo and were able to get some very good pictures before it went into the water. We were also taken to a few other places and shown some bird life. I can thoroughly recommend the boat trip.
The next trip we had with them about 1 week later was a game drive to Moremi, now this was the big one, we were collected at 6am by our guide (Charles) who was really friendly and again we were told not to expect to see Lions and other animals as it depends on where they are at the time. As this was winter time in Botswana it was cold in the morning and our journey there would be very cold in a open vehicle but they provided blankets for us.
Before we even got to Moremi we were greeted by such lovely sights as Giraffes, Elephants and Springbok.
Once we got through the gates at Moremi we were treated to even more of the same animals as well as Zebras, Hippos, Crocodiles, Antelope, amazing bird life and even Botswanas famous sausage tree.
Throughout this our guide was excellent and would stop for the wildlife if we saw it before him although this wasn't very often as he spotted animals way before us and he stopped so as to let the animals cross in front of us such as Elephants and Giraffes which enabled us to get some great pictures.
At lunchtime we were able to get out of the game vehicle and have lunch by a lake that was surrounded by wildlife (on the other side) so were we eating whilst watching Hippos, springbok and Zebras by the water.
Before lunch we had seen 2 female lions and our guide got us very close to them, they had recently killed and had eaten so they were content with us being near them, so content that one of them got up and went to the lake for a drink, our guide followed her and again we got some amazing pics.
All of the guides there from other companies talk to each other and let them know what they've seen and after lunch our guide was talking to another one he found out that a male lion was nearby and resting after having eaten, it turned out it was in the same spot the female Lions were in, just as we saw the male lion the guide reversed and took us near the river, when we enquired why he'd done this he showed us this big Croc that was heading to the river so he parked in front of it and the Croc just lay flat and again we were able to take some amazing pics, after that we headed back to the male Lion to get some excellent pics and at one point the Lion looked at us but because he'd eaten he wasn't bothered by us. Our trip was drawing to an end but even as we were leaving we still saw plenty of Giraffes, Elephants and Springbok.
This is a long trip (ours was nearly 12 hours) and for most of that you are sitting in a game viewer and driving over very bumpy un made roads and you will be a bit sore at the end of the day but the sights you will see are totally worth it and with our guide the day was made totally enjoyable.

We had a great time with Temogo on our 8days trip to Moremi, Khwai, Savute and Chobe. Everything was well planned and organized and we had nothing to complain about. If you plan to choose this company for your journey to Botswana definitely ask for Charles, our lovely and experienced driver and guide and Emos, our fantastic cook, to go with you on the game drives. Both of them fulfilled literally every single of our wishes and gave us the chance to enjoy the nature of Botswana in a extraordinary way.

We negotiated a trip for 3 days into Moremi with the owner, Tim. We would join a person who had already booked. We agreed on a price, and leave the next morning. Tim showed up and demanded more money (first said the other person paid more and wanted money back, then said the car had already left, then tried to go to another place (Kwai) instead of Moremi, for just an overnight trip for the same price. Horrible experience with untrustworthy realer and dealer.

My experience was as solo. I did an accumulate five safaris totalling around 10 days. Makoro was excellent. I learned and caught a glimpse of something never experienced before and in fairness I had many firsts with them. My unforgettable experience was of hunting, but this really was down to the makoro pilot rather than Temogo. Becoming the prey in order to catch the prey was imbued upon me by the pilot who was the hunter. An awesome insight never to be forgotten. Photography and experience rather than hunt per se. I came within inches of the prey, I was the prey and knew where to go. Amazing.
Moremi is an outstanding place the guide knew inside out. The camp was located next to a basin that floods during the rains, no rains this time but spectacular and down to earth.
Khwai - The camp has facilities, I preferred More, showers that require to be fired up for hot water, toilets and a place to charge the mobile at the rangers station. Dusty when I was there, rains were called for, a difficult time in the delta out with the rains. The surrounding locations for safaris were again spectacular however as were the local villages. Ranger knew his stuff.
Deception Pan, incredible to experience the expanse of it. Ranger can drive. I have to say however we had one day less here than was arranged. Ranger had to be back at Maun. In fairness, they were probably tired of the solo traveler. Cook began to lapse. Cook was in fact a licensed ranger, not a cook.
Swamp Stop. Very nice camp site with full facilities, not really what I was looking for but lovely river boat trip on the delta and proximal to Tsodilo Hills - awesome and deep. Ranger now lapsing. Again in fairness there were only the two of us now and I was looking for an indigenous experience.
Temogo means to explore - we did explore at my insistence but that was short lived - Ranger needed to be back at Maun. In fairness exploration will take place within the confines of the familiar and explored Okavango circuits at the various camp sites and reserves.
Overall an awesome experience. I wish I had had more of the Makoro hunting type of experience, but to find that you got to be lucky and I think I was there and then. Equipment could do with an upgrade (flead mattresses) vehicle was a bit tired, tent was good, food was good to ok. Boundaries began to lapse as time went on but being a solo that's hard to fault. As a solo I enjoyed the roughness of it. This group has real potential and I actually think it is an above average safari group with some excellent people in it.
Big thanks to Tim above all, chill brother, peace dude, maybe see you in Scotland my man, patience chef and focus. Ranger, I'm gonna miss you dude.
