The Namaqualand Flower Tour (August and September 2019 and 2020) is a time for Discovery; Exploring and Adventure.
We hope that the Flowers will be good this year; However we will be exploring and discovering places few South Africans even know about. You will see some breathtaking view sites as well as places of historical and natural beauty and interest.
Do not miss the opportunity to come on this tour with us. Now is the time to make your reservation. Peter is waiting for you to contact him.

This tour departs in August and September of 2019 and 2020.

Spend Seven Days meeting new people and exploring together. It is important to book well in advance as accommodation is at a premium during the Flower Season. Please make your reservation no later than 30th June each year if possible.

This scaled down replica of the Paardekraal monument was gifted by the Krugersdorp Municipality to Graaff Reinet on the occasion of the 200 year milestone of the existence of the town. The full story behind the significance and symbolism of the monument is not immediately accessible to the visitor, as like many other monuments and memorials in this country, it has suffered under the hands of vandals and other cerebrally challenged miscreants! Fortunately, there is enough documentation, both in book form and on the internet,to fully acquaint yourself with the necessary info. This monument is also on the left hand side of the road into town, just south of the Sundays River bridge and not far from the Jewish Pedlars monument.
