I found this of particular interest as they have a cabinet full of genealogy related records of early families in Graaff Reinet. As it was the last of our visits we were pressed for time and only had time to quickly view one such file....More

What draws people to this museum is undoubtedly the peach pit floor in the kitchen, but there is so much more to see. And the director is an absolute delight! She is well-informed, super friendly, and loves talking to visitors. The house is perfectly furnished...More

The comments in the other reviews are all valid. Do visit this museum if you have the time. If your time is limited give preference to The Reinet House and the The Military History Museum.

Great to see our history being preserved and presented in a well laid out manner. It was interesting to see the photographs and recognise so many surnames of the pioneers of the Eastern Cape.

Small but interesting. Another house similar to Reinett House but less time needs to be spent here, together with the Military Museum all three. Can be seen in a morning.
