Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum is located in an unassuming building next to a war memorial sight for soldiers who died in the 2nd World War. Right now it features photographs and exhibits from the 2nd World War and the 2008 War between Georgia and Russia. They also plan to have exhibits from the 92/93 conflict in Abkhazia in the future. More acurate portrayal of events than the Stalin Museum but signs are only in Russian and Georgian. An English speaking guide is available for 5 Lari (in addition to entrance fee), she will explain in great detail so plan to spend a bit of time if you want a guide. Entry without a guide is 3 Lari. Worth a visit.

This is an ok museum that cherishes stalin, and soviet Russia. Personally i was not amazed by it. But i think you should give it a try, if in Gori. Ticket is very cheap.

Had a great day today. Everything from getting picked up from my hotel to being informed of numerous information on the way to the museum. Not to forget the lady who took us on the English speaking tour of the museum was extremely well informed and happy to answer all questions
Definitely highly recommend

Unless you speak Russian or Georgian you will struggle to understand properly the displayed items. It might work with a guide, but nobody was interested when we went...

This small museum gets few visitors in comparison with Stalin museum. It deserves much better especially when you hire the young lady guide who speaks English like a native.

It is really old fashioned museum, not well maintained, to be honest. Another time machine to take you 30 years back, when museums were usually dusty, dull palce.

Friendly ladies are willing to help, but it is of little use because it is not in English. In this small museum you can see a view impressive bomb shells. Dear museum please make some upgrade for tourist.
