They put so many display on the outside, I bet there's plenty more inside. Too bad we reach the museum too late, they already close at 14.30 on Saturday, while we're planning to go out of town on Sunday, and they are closed on Monday....More

Though it is closed on public holidays, I still enjoy the garden behind the museum and the miniature around. They are great!! I really hope the state government can keep the museum well.

Interesting inside but the outside buildings needed some repair work done on them. There was an entry fee to get in.

It's a little frustrating to see how the state's rich history and culture are not maximized in its introduction and preservation at this museum. Clearly there's a lack of management from the staff and you can tell from the place that's not being maintained well....More

The museum focused on the ethnic groups in West Kalimantan, and it was great to learn more about the traditions of the people. They also had a great section on the ceramics of the different dynasties.
