Bagan is in a quite primitive state but possesses an unforgettable human heritage! In the city most streets are dirt tracks very dimly lit. You inhale a lot of dust anywhere you go but I would go again because for every site visited there's at...More

At first we didn't realise how special this place is. But once we really got to see the temples from an elevated view, just wow. Especially in low season. The best part is that every visitor must drive an e- scooter which makes for a...More

We hired an ‘e bike’ - a battery operated scooter & made our own way around the many wonderful pagodas, temples & stupas. We started early & after siesta, to avoid the heat of the day. The major temples are majestic & like cathedrals. The...More

À trip to Myanmar would not be complete without a visit to Bagan. With over 2000 temples and Pagodas, you can eat your heart out! We did 2 full days, by e-bikes, with Sunrise and sunsets, and a balloon ride. We were all templed-out by...More

This is the most ámazing thing I’ve ever seen in my life. The balloons over temples in sunrise and sunset were absolutely magical and it was like in a fairytale, especially when we had waited for 3 days rainy in Bagan. Better get here from...More

We rented an e-bike for cheap and did our own tours. Take off and explore. To beat the heat go at 5:30 AM. Young boys will drive next to you and offer to show you secret temples. It is worth giving them a few bucks....More

I knocked this off my bucket list and was delighted to visit this wonderful place. It was part of an overnight shore excursion from our cruise ship. At the time of year we went (April) the hot air balloons were not operating and I think...More

Pagodas, temples and stupors as far as the eye can see. Highly recommend you hire a local guide and an e-bike. The guide will take you to the main temples then on the next day explore the lesser temples by ypurself. Unbelievable sight

This was one of the most amazing places to see, 4,000 temples!!!! Four of us travel through Asia and this was one of the highlights of our trip. I recommend seeing it by hot air balloon. Seeing them from the air gave you a full...More

I recommend that you do not travel by train. It is not comfortable and can take 20 hours. We came back from Bagan to Yangon by air conditioned bus an it took 10 hours. If I had to do it again I would fly.
