You have to pay, and it feels totally fake. Dont loose your time and money - it’s Bagan, not Disneyworld.

Please note that this place is not a temple but an old palace, thus entering this place need to pay 3,000 kyat per person. First of all this palace is small, apart from the main architecture I actually felt that there is really nothing much...More

It was good to go into a palace. although not old as most in Bagan, without taking shoes off and walking on stones and rubble. This replica palace is very peaceful and decorative and lovely to walk around. Only local people were there when we...More

The palace is situated in the heart of Old Bagan. Its size isn’t very big, but the gold everywhere is really impressive. All areas can be viewed and there are explanations in English. The garden in front of the palace is pretty well taken care...More

Bagan is full of pagodas so a break in this pallace is a good option. Pay a small entrance fee but then you can enjoy walking inside and relax. Better to visit after 4pm

I only walked in here as I was hot and this waste of space is the nadir of our Myanmar visit. Imagine a low cost Korean conference centre on the edge of town going bust then you may get a feel of the place. It...More

During our stay in Myanmar this was by far the worst sight. This replica of the palace is impersonal and kitsch. In my opinion to be avoided.

While a replica of the original palace, it loses nothing in impressiveness. From this replica, one can still gain considerable understanding of not only what the palace looked like, but also how it functioned in the political structure of the time. Separate areas of the...More

Entrance fee is 5000 kyat. Seems like this place is more commercial as there are some stores, atm and tourity things inside the compound.
