Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rock is massive and when you look at it, you go wow! I meditate also so I was ready looking forward to sitting there and meditating but the way it was maintained was a big disappointment. The person managing it charged a ticket of 100 per head and had absolutely no clue about the history. The few lines on the board were off. It was sad to see zero preservation efforts on something so magnificent. On a side note, the dumplings outside in the rock cafe were one of the best I’ve had in Skardu. Expensive than the market rate but really good.

Car access is possible if you insist with the driver. Very nice image, supposedly dating back to 800AD approximately.

If you happen to have spare time do pass by. Or if you happen to have special interest in Buddhism visit can be justified.

I had to accompany a fellow lady traveler to this site. It was a short hike up the hill. It a must for any Buddhist devotee I suppose.
