If you are in San Juan del Rios it is well worth the effort to see being one of few tourists things in town. All in Spanish but fun even if not fluent and interested in how the afterlife was viewed for centuries.

It is an interesting museum with a very tiny chapel, some relics. a good place to visit in San Juan del rio.

This small museum shows prehispanic and colonial Mexican burial rituals. It is interesting but only if you understand Spanish We were given a brief tour ( half an hour) by the only employee there. It is situated in the first graveyard established in San Juan...More
