Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We go to Cabarete for several onths every year and all our visitors are taken there for lunch. I have also recommended this venue to many people, all who have expressed their pleasure with the experience. On our last visit, we took the boat down the river. We are currently waiting for a taxi to take our visiting grandchildren for lunch.

La Boca I am told translates to "where the river meets the ocean". A quite spot where on windy days you can watch the kite riders get in some practise and watch them do their thing. Wilson's Restaurant on the other side is not to be missed. Stand on the dock and someone will run over with the boat to collect you.

This was by far my favorite restaurant in cabarete, the food was great i ordered crab, and the waiter took the shells off for me because i couldn't, the plantains were delicious, the ride there is beautiful, they take you on a boat across the beach, It is very cheap for amazing food like this, i would definitely return to la boca.

We came from Kite beach upwind to the boca. It was very nice entering into fresh water. The boca is small, I would say a maximum of 8 kites. It is very nice to jump since it is flat water and the wind is consistent.

If you go to Cabarete don´t miss the Boca.

I frequent la Boca often, I love this river and coming out to the mouth of the ocean. Sometimes, it's so calm, then other times, it has waves, super cool. The wind from the ocean is awesome for people like me who beginner Kite, also, great for paddle boarding and kayaking too. A definite recommend.

Neat little out of the way place to kite, eat at Wilsons, or just hand out. Rent an ATV and have a real blast getting here.

This beach is on the mouth of the Yassica River where it enters the North Atlantic. There is a resturant called Wilson’s Grille that serves local fish, crabs, and lobsters. They pick you up and ferry you across the river for lunch.

Six of us went on this tour. After being escorted around the garden where Rudy educated us about the various plants, we went on a river tour. There we saw many birds and beautiful scenery. Then we ate a wonderful lunch of fish or chicken with several sides. This is a must if your are near here and reasonably priced.
