Seen way nicer beaches. You don't have to fly 5 or 10+ hours to enjoy great beaches. To our opinion overrated. Way to much Water traffic and very loud "Entertainment".

The beach featured clean white sand and was very well maintained. We went every night to enjoy the lovely sunset. Although we're not early risers, we also heard the sunrise view was spectacular from our hotel (Iberostar Bavaro Grand).

Most of the beach is covered with seaweed, exception is Barcelo Bavaro Palace. We walked around and could see it.

Gorgeous clean beach. You can walk for miles past resorts. Some areas are rougher than others but you can always find a comfortable spot for a dip.

Hi, Each morning the beach is combed of seaweed. The water was relatively clean of seaweed. We did not see it as a problem and we spend a lot of time at beaches around the world. Hope this helps. Have fun!
