If you like to ride, go here! There are places to rent 4 wheelers and side-by-sides, if you don’t own. There’s plenty of Rv spots or cabins. Be sure to take eyewear, and cover for mouth and nose. I’ve ridden over 100 miles in a...More

We have been riding for 3 years in a row now and stay at the same cabins. Black Bear Cabins is very clean and you can ride directly to the trails. The trails are so much fun, and even in the hot summer there are...More

We had a great experience at the Wolf Pen Gap Campground. Us and a group of friends rented 4 of their 2 bed/1 bath cabins. They allowed us to stake claim to the covered pavilion across from our cabins to keep our grills and to...More

We love this area, different trails for everyone's abilities. People are helpful along the trails. Wolf Pen Campground is a great place to stay. Nice "A" frame cabins and very affordable and near the trails. Been 5 times and ready to go again.

I just returned from Wolf Pen Gap this weekend. I have been going there for the last 20 years, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. This is the first visit in about 3 years and I was very disappointed with the changes to the...More

Love getting to drive the trails and seeing the beautiful views of the mountains that are around. And even getting to see the mining cave. Getting to meet people from all over is also nice to do.

We visited the trails with a group of 20 in 9 ORV. The area had excellent views. However, most of the trails in this system imo were just like riding on dirt roads. We felt that the trails were almost too maintained taking away from...More

Spent my first weekend in a cabin in the area and it turned into one of the best "long weekend" vacations I think I've experienced. Booked the Cabin on Wolf Pen Gap and stayed 3 nights and it too was perfect. The trails at the...More

I know of no cave you can drive through. There is one in which you can park outside of it and walk through. If there is a larger one than that, I never knew it was there.

I have never seen a drive thru cave and I have been going around 20 years. The only cave that I know of is off of Stein lane, near the north trail head.
