Not overly thrilling, but gives you an idea of Mena’s history. Wish it had a bit more, but worth a quick pop in while you walk through the city. They also have a very friendly cat!

Very nice and historical stop on US 71 in Mena. The old Kansas City Southern depot was been restored and has become a very informative piece of railroad and Mena city history. A nice rest stop/distraction for about an hour of your time. Recommended.

For something that is free it is well worth the stop. I guarantee you will something new everytime you go in, there is too much to take in.

A nice little train museum and town history. Colorful art gallery. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for things to do.

It is free to tour the Train Depot. I’m not sure the hours. The Polk Co Chamber and A&P Commission offices are in there now, so it might be open more often. It’s open each week day and there are volunteers who are present... More
