Yes I meant 'sight' not site, though both words are appropriate. Seeing is believing and this did not disappoint. Majestic and beautiful so if you do have the opportunity don't pass it up.

Went here from Rio Tranquillo via private transport and then boat. Thanks captain Nacho and tour guide Waldo, aligned with Destino Patagonia tour company - two champion gentlemen whose combined ages won't break the speed limit, but whose expertise is undeniable.

The glacier, the floes, the wildlife; Laguna San Raphael will fill your camera's memory card. Calving glacier; that unreal blue color of icebergs; cormorants everywhere, this boat trip is the place to be in Chacabuco. Just a short boat ride from the port.

Wonderful nature beauty, the glacier is awesome and beautiful, pieces of ice fall into the ocean and Skorpios boats get you really close to the glacier wall. A great option in southern Chile.
