Visited here today again for lunch and once again the food was first class. It really is a dining experience combined with real ale and welcoming staff. A real top pub which is well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
You would have to try hard to find a warmer welcome and nicer rooms at £60 per night. If you have to stay somewhere in the area then this is a gem. And the added extra is great beer (Martsons) and really satisfying pub grub.
