Lovely food, we tend to eat from the bar menu. Food is always good, lovely staff too. The meals are quite big so unless you have a large appetite, I wouldn't order a starter unless to share.

Disappointed at the quality of the food presented for this birthday meal. I thought it was bland and watery. Having ordered in advance there were still errors in the meals delivered. I also think the drink prices are extortionate and I will avoid drinking there...More

Went here with the family. Five adults two young kids. The whole place, staff and food were excellent. This place has a great team. Very attentive, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

always a friendly welcome and good food in the bar or restaurant. Can get busy when there's a game on TV but always a laugh as Liverpool never win when I watch there!!

Visited here today again for lunch and once again the food was first class. It really is a dining experience combined with real ale and welcoming staff. A real top pub which is well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

You would have to try hard to find a warmer welcome and nicer rooms at £60 per night. If you have to stay somewhere in the area then this is a gem. And the added extra is great beer (Martsons) and really satisfying pub grub.
