Oldest son wanted to come look for diamonds. Very friendly staff. Did not find any diamonds but kids had fun and were wore out by the end of the day.

A great place to visit if you like digging and playing in the dirt or if your kids do. Not too expensive. You can rent the equipment you need to dig if you don't have it or don't want to buy it. They do charge...More

It's grubby and dirty but lots of fun! Take some camp chairs, lots of drinking water and hats. Get right into the spirit of the place and dig and sift and just enjoy the experience of the great outdoors. Hire or take your own equipment....More

At the only place in the U.S. where the public can search for diamonds (and keep them if found), this state park is an unusual find. It is a ways off of main roads so expect to travel some to get there. However, after paying...More

Crater of diamonds park was a lot of fun! Even found a couple of small diamonds! The staff was very helpful and the price of admission was very fair! Can't wait to come back!

About 500 per year over the past few years. It varies from year to year depending on how many visitors they have. You can see the yearly statistics at their website in the Media // Diamond Statistics menu.

You can rent them there... But for the love of God take your own lol. It is the only ripoff at the entire place.
