Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not worth it! The walk down wasn’t to bad but the walk back up was. We were sll sweaty tired and wet and there was 28 of us including my 86 year old grandpa he was miserable and we didn’t even need the life jackets for the rocky area only for the deep. So it was not the best but then we went to a place called el trampolin it was free and so much better I recommend it!

I loved jumping 10 meters high, it has a few restaurants which are good and the best of all is cheap... I recommend buying the shoes for the water you’ll need them almost in every activity in there.

First of all, you need to rent lifejackets to access this area, water shoes are a must, hike down is over 350 steps there are about 3 different areas but only went to this area it was not crowded, not easily accessible , rocks are slippery at an angle to get in and hold on to rope it was our first spot in area to visit would of done it in the middle, we were all pouring sweat hike back up,this place reminded me a little of the cenotes in the Cancun area, but this was not so touristy or developed, very rugged terrain to get out too, my friend busted her knee getting out, pristine clean water, locals said this water is tested on a monthly basis and is safe to drink, I didn't on purpose swallow some had a good taste

The water was sooooo amazing 🤩 it’s one of the best experiences in Mexico. Driving to get there was no fun. Definitely need an experienced driver to handle the drive which is via roads with lot of truck traffic. But it was so worth it ! We spent 4 days in huesteca potosina. This is one of the activities we indulged in. Don’t forget to try the cocktails available once you are out of the water ;)

Me and my dad went to this place and were stunned by it ! It is a must see place if you ever go near Tamasopo. We went on a week day and there was nobody around so we had the place all for ourselves. Totally recommend; if you love nature you are going to want to stay here for a long time !

It was an amazing experience, loved all the different sights around. Being in nature and the beautiful waterfall. Enjoyed experiencing the "Jump" into the water and using the ropes to get from one point to the other.

This is a recommended spot where you can feel the beauty and power of nature.
You can explore the cave while floating down the river wearing a life jacket.
You can relax while being swept away by the river, jump into the river, or just sit and watch the waterfall, and enjoy nature to the fullest.
Both the water in the river and the inside of the cave are beautiful, so it is highly recommended.
It is quite difficult to go up and down the stairs to get to the spot.

The place is undoubtedly worth the visit, although there are quite a few steps to go down and up. The landscape of the place is very beautiful, the waterfalls and the water are totally worth it, the tour they give you of the cave is a totally new experience and the water that you see when passing through the point of God is undoubtedly wonderful It is highly recommended to wear a vest at all times.
