- Nikolina V1 contributionWine tastingWe arranged our visit easily two days before via online form on their website. Total experience was great - exellent wines in combination with some local chesse, salami and prosciutto. Our host was Maja. She guided us through winery and told story behind every wine we tested. She was beyond pleasant! 🙂Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 June 2024

Urban Petrič, the owner, welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. The wine tasting was wonderful, showcasing a range of exquisite wines that truly captured the essence of the Vipava valley region. - K A4 contributionsWine tastingWonderful wine tasting! We briefly met the winemaker prior. The variety of wines to taste is excellent and the orange wine was an unexpected surprise that we just loved. (It does not taste like orange but is named for the color / blend). The estate produced meats were an amazing treat and simply divine!Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 September 2024

Really nice tour by the owner of the wineyard. Goes really great with the group and explains a lot about the wines and their origin. You really get a sense of the area and it’s winefiels. Just trust me, this guy knows what he is doing so go there ;)

Great wines, beautiful authentic winery with history and kind owner. We had a great evening one week ago! After the tasting we enjoyed a few delicious Petric wines at our camping with two couples we met during the tasting. Nice one to do when you are in or around Vipava and especially when you’re staying at Kamp Tura.

The wine tasting was great and the guide was very informative. The main reason for the less than perfect score is we stayed in the Urban Petric accommodation advertised on the website. What was not made clear is that the accommodation is 15 minutes drive from the wine tasting, with not transport provided. Therefore we had no choice but for one of us to not enjoy the wine as they had to drive. And it was not just us. Two other parties made the same assumption that the accommodation was at the vineyard and therefore 3 of 6 of us from the accommodation were only have snifters of the tasters. It really should be made clear that the accommodation is that distance away, or for the hosts to provide some form of transfer so that you can fully enjoy the experience.

Choice between many based on TA reviews. 3 daily shifts (1.30pm-4.00pm-6.30pm). Convivial table with around ten seats, inside a small but honest cellar. Tasting with explanation of between 5 and 7 tastings, supported by 1 platter of cold cuts and cheeses for every 2 people. Punctuality required. Duration approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Nice atmosphere, good quality of the raw materials, excellent explanation, excellent quality/price ratio (20-25 euros each). Truly an experience worth repeating

Me and my friends had a blast at Petric. All of the wines, from the rose to red nature, were delicious and unique. Also Urban was really nice, explained everything really well and relaxed and chatted with us for the whole tasting. Would recommend!

We came across this winery by accident as we dived under cover to escape heavy rain. What a find! Urban’s mother made us extremely welcome as we waited for the tour and tasting to start. Urban explained how his family have been making wine for centuries and showed the current set-up. We were then treated to a tasting which lasted a couple of hours, 6 wines accompanied by prosciutto and cheese. Urban is a real enthusiast. Highly recommended.
