I have visited this several times and most recent on September 29, 2018. If you are in Norfork, take the time to read the historic placard and walk around the grounds. This was built by the first documented white settler in the area.

We visited here while staying at nearby Lakeview, AR. This is an interesting little stop. We took pictures of all the buildings and read the history on the information boards on site. It is self-guided and at your own pace.

The Wolf House is certainly an interesting historical site. I would be fairly disappointed if I made a long trip to see it specifically though. If you are passing through it is worth a few minutes of your time to stop and have a look around.
