I've ben to Oman twelve times, and coming back agian and again. I'v seen almost everything what you can call as "must see" there: the Wadis, desert, corals, fortifications, Nizwa, Bahla, souks, oasis, the canyon, mountains ... But, trust me, this trip to the Islands...More

We visit this island with Hormuz adventure and found it's very scenic to visit small beach with classic locations of small beach with easy snorkeling site nearby. Lots of fish with tortoises. It's wonderful. They took us to more deep snorkeling site afterwards. Must visit...More

I was surprised by the calm, clean and unspoiled area. It is a easy place to dive and not at all overdeveloped. I would not return as I don't want to put another visitor on such a pristine dive spot. The Sultan has done a...More

Several dive spots around. From millennium resort Mussanah by speed boat reachable. Not very deep dives. Saw the whale sharks on the way to the dive site to daymaniyat island. Did snorkel next to the whale sharks amazing feeling.

Great for diving or snorkeling. Take a wetsuit as the water is surprisingly cold after a meter or so down. Boats go from Muscat but must pre book and bring everything, water, food etc as nothing out there.

Al Daymaniyat Islands are just only an hour sail from Muscat. Unbelievably beautiful sea life, like on the Discovery channel. Coral reefs and all shapes and colour of fish: blue and yellow and stripy and silver and small and huge. If you are lucky you...More

Sailed over for a couple days with some friends, and aside from the non-working a/c for the first two days in 40C (100F) weather all was perfect. The water is just amazing, great snorkeling (and apparently diving - so we didn't try), thousands of birds...More

So we were lucky enough to have a friend with a boat and some camping gear! For only a couple of Rial, you buy a permit to sleep/camp on the island! This was a great experience and the kids loved it! We caught some fish...More
