Like stepping into a fairytale picture book
This place is beautiful. For the middle of the week it was quite busy, with several children running around, but we were still able to get some great pictures and to sit and enjoy nature. The bridges look like wood, but are actually concrete.

    Gem for All Ages
This free hidden gem in a suburban neighborhood is extremely special. Lots of walking paths that look like wood, but are actually concrete, around an 1880’s water-powered grist mill. All ages will enjoy it as we saw evidenced when we ate at one of the picnic tables. The opening scenes of the classic movie "Gone With The Wind” features this location. It is for children, romantics…everyone. Calm, serene, lovely with mallard and Muscovy ducks and turtles to add to the ambiance.

    Beautiful and Free
Beautiful and free. We happened to be driving nearby on our Arkansas vacation and we opted to come here and check this spot out. It did not disappoint! You can spend as little or as much time here as you would like. If you like great views, a little history, and plants displayed in a beautiful arrangement then stop by here. There is a restroom which was clean and cool. It wasn’t extremely busy and there were plenty of opportunities for great photos. We spent about an hour here and really took it all in. They have master gardeners that keep the flowers and plants. The kids loved the ducks and turtles. May not be great for those who may have trouble with stairs or mid grade inclines.

    Enchanting!
We visited this enchanting place in October of 2021. We stopped first in the late afternoon of one day and enjoyed it so much, we returned the next morning. It's a small park, but beautifully maintained. SO worth a visit.

I loved seeing this old mill so much. The grounds are so beautiful. It's far enough South that the flowers are in bloom earlier than where I live so I really enjoyed seeing them. It's so unique and amazing. You can tour the inside of the mill as well as the grounds.

Such a beautiful place in the middle of the city. If you love nature this is a must see. We watched ducks swim in the water and climbed to the top floor of the mill.

This is a beautiful park. Great place for photos. Easy to walk around with places to sit. I could see bringing a sack lunch to enjoy while there.

Cool little place to get some great photos. Recommend going on a sunny day or slightly overcast. The foliage provides a lot of shade.

Not recommended for those that cannot walk well.

Only thing still historic about it is the 1st level of the mill.

You only need about 30 min to see the whole place and get some awesome pictures.

The Old Mill is located in North Little Rock, about four miles north of downtown Little Rock.

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the mill is known from the movie Gone with the Wind. The mill and the surroundings are quite nice and admission is free.
