The small visitor center and exhibit area are very appealing and offer a nice selection of souvenirs and camping necessities. We enjoy walking our dogs in this park; the grounds are beautiful.

This is the best kept secret in Pocahontas. A very nice visitor center with individual hand held info speaker. Groomed walking trails that take you around old town markers and cemetery. Campground with camper and tent sites. Lots of programs offered. Cute gift shop. Well...More

You'll find beautiful hiking trails and fascinating bits of history at this state park. The staff is friendly and helpful and do all they can to ensure you enjoy your visit. I can wait to return in the early summer to see the freshwater jellyfish!

Beautiful park. The camping area was new and the services were great. The visitors center was interesting and had locally made items for purchase. The staff were friendly and very informative about the park.
