It's an interesting vantage point for the city, little else. Everything is crying for some attention and maintenance. The set of buildings next to the clock tower are interesting. Forget the rest, artillery, warplane...junk.

Very interesting site in downtown Gjirocaster. You can either walk the steep approach, or take a cab up. Once there, the view is magnificent. There is a military museum and prison that you can explore. A must see if you are visiting.
