Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A combination of Korca's amazing old city architecture and modern novelties would probably be the best description for the amazing city square. The old bazaar has recently been renovated and has regained its old glory, thus becoming of on the most attractive tourist destinations in Albania. The atmosphere in the square is always lovely, even in the times of the pandemic. If you visit Korca without seeing its main square, then you missed its greatest gem! All recommendations!

I last visited the bazaar in Korça about eight years ago and was quite surprised to see the amazing changes. What I last saw was very worn and run down. Now, the bazaar area is full of small cafés and shops. It is a bit touristy - but there are few foreign tourists, so the place still feels quite genuine.

The Korça old bazar is ha been renovated a few years ago.
The house are nicely restored , but during the day it feels empty , there are not so many shops.
In the evening it is different, all the terraces are full .
Pleasant - like Korça - a city that made a lot of efforts to modernise ( museum, theatre, red tower ). Very clean city and safe.

Visiting the Old Bazzar and the big Chathedral was very nice. We went to the First School in Albanian language. The people were friendly

The old Bazaar is packed with people at 9pm on a mild summer evening, enjoying the soccer on a dozen screens. Very lively happy place to visit. I’ll have to return tomorrow to see it in daylight!

I liked this part of Korce although I didn't get the chance to stay long - cobbled streets with lots of different restaurants and coffee houses and vendors selling their wares. A bit touristy perhaps but it still has plenty of charm and a lot to see.

This is a great place to visit, especially in the evening when the bars and restaurants are in full swing. If you are into tourist shopping, daytime is OK too.

The bazaar dates originally from the 1500s and in recent years has been renovated and transformed into a focal area for tourism in a Korca. The central square, Pazari I Vjeter, is absolutely glorious and must be one of the most attractive old squares in all of Europe. It is almost entirely turned over to cafes and restaurants and it’s a great place to take the weight off your feet and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. The streets radiating away from the square are full of restored traditional shop fronts but, sadly for us, most were closed up when we were there (maybe because we visited on a Sunday??).

First time I was in Korca I somehow missed this place. Now the second time I nearly missed it again. What a shame it would have been. A lovely place indeed, full of life, nice people and great places for having a coffee and relaxing. Overall Korca is a great place to visit whereas this bazar is the highlight. Don`t miss it.
