- Ashleigh H1 contributionI’m so shocked! While we didn’t get the full experience (food, face paint etc, down to our own issues) this was amazing, there was something for all of us. I figured I’d end up doing nothing because I don’t particularly like climbing and heights so I planned on sticking with our under one while the partner was off with the 5 year old.. WRONG! I actually enjoyed having a go, and the boat fascinated our baby girl, she had a few rides! We had an absolute BLAST, so much to explore and it doesn’t get boring even if you loop the place because you’re bound to have missed something you didn’t notice before! I am amazed, I expected to be stood around bored but we bonded so much as a family and really loved the time together! We had a day pass (10-5 but we only used 1-5, but the time flew over and we wished we got there earlier!! We even managed a calm family photo because we was all happy and relaxed lol!!Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 February 2023
- gareth pHavant, United Kingdom4 contributionsAmazing family fun, a real gem in Norfolk. What an excellent attraction, every member of the family had a great time! We're a family of 4 with two young children 6&10 and there was something for all of us. They even had a zip line adapted for toddlers and babies!! The staff are excellent, always so cheerful and ready to help. There were toilets and bins dotted everywhere and the whole site was spotlessly clean. It is such a well managed and thought out attraction, it was a breath of fresh as a family with young children, we don't see this often! Even the food and drink in offer was well providing for the fussier of eaters and reasonably priced to boot. We took a packed lunch but there were picnic benches everywhere. This was a quiet period in the season being Feb half term so it might be different in peak times, as this has to be a popular attraction. I know if we lived closer we would be regular visitors. Overall it was 100% value for money!Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 February 2023
- Hugo B1 contributionTO DO !We are a familly of 2 adults and 3 children 3, 10 and 13 years old. Its was a very nice place and very joyful time where there were big slides, treehouses and plenty of other activity ( as story telling or zipline!) We had a lovely time but the ONLY thing that it was not cheap.( 105£ in total ) Well done !!!👍👍Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 February 2023
- Amy S1 contributionExcellent day outI don't often write reviews, but I do if somewhere is really great. Bewilderwood was booked as a day out to cater for two children under five and two teenagers along with parents and grandparents for a family get together. It was a total hit with everyone. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the places to climb/slide down etc were so much fun, the food was Greta and staff very helpful with dietary needs, the stories were captivating for the younger children, there were loads of clean toilets and we'd definitely go back again if we visited Norfolk :)Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 February 2023
- LittleTiggsFurneux Pelham, United Kingdom24 contributionsNature's perfect little oasis...!!!An absolute gem...!!! Being at one with nature with the added bonuses of zip lines, slides, rope bridges, tree houses, boat ride, and so much more. This place is so well thought out. Booking is easy. Access is easy. Activities at every turn for young and old alike. Plenty of seating for the not-so-young to rest. Food is healthy, hearty and delicious plus reasonably priced. Cannot fault this place. Can not wait to return.Helloo there Little Tiggs! Thank you so much for your feedback. The Boggles & Twiggles are soopa happy to hear you had a fun time exploring the WILD woods and getting back to nature. - Ballerina50322 contributionsGreat family day outThis was our first visit and we weren’t sure how suitable it would be for our 10 year old. We needn’t have worried though as he loved it! There’s plenty to do, including crafts, face painting and story time (which was really engaging), plus all the outdoor play equipment and the boat ride. We spent all day there, being one of the last families to leave and at no point did any of us feel bored. I’d really recommend BeWILDerwood to families of Primary aged childrenHelloo there Ballerina503! Oooh this is sooo lovely to hear! We are so glad to hear you and your family spent the entire day running WILD and exploring the woods! - Donna D53 contributionsNot sure, good and badI'm in two minds about this place. I had heard very good things about it and was told its a great day out. I have two daughters 10 and 8 and they were very excited however once there although it was a nice place to visit for a couple of hours it could have been a lot better in places. For the money we paid for a family of 4 i was expecting a lot but what you got was a big park with a few very good tree houses thrown in. We went on a very wet April day in the school holidays we got there for opening (10am) and we were the only people there for about the first hour which was great, we didn't have to wait for anything, things were still safe to climb even when wet and it was great but by 11.30 - 12.00 we had done everything and were thinking it was time to go home. However this was not just around the corner from us and it was a 2 hour drive. I think there needs to be a bit more added to this place to make it an all day place. We took the boat on arrival and again on the way home and didn't have to wait either time. The story telling and characters could be explored a bit more and maybe have a few of the characters hiding in the woods to find too. This place was good but could be great.Hi there Donnad955! Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're always looking for ways to improve the WILD woods so your comments are really appreciated! We are so glad to hear the wet weather didn't spoil your fun but we're sorry that you felt there wasn't quite enough to make it a full day out. We will speak with the tip-top Twiggles to see if we can include more about the curious characters around the park! We hope to see you and your daughters running WILD with us again soooon! xxWritten 7 April 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2023Written 6 April 2023
- VictoriaNorwich, United Kingdom6 contributionsMemories madeFirst time visiting with my four year old nephew, my sister was visiting from Canada for the first time since Covid (over 3 years ago!) we all absolutely loved it. We went at the start of the Easter Holiday on a semi rainy day, but that didn’t put us off at all! Just bring lots of rain gear, suitable shoes and maybe an umbrella and you’ll be fine, there is a lot of cover from the trees as well. The information they have online is brilliant, as we knew it was going to be rainy they explained when they close slides and other structures for safety. Even though we’re big people we could also head round the treehouses with my nephew, even in rain the wood panels have additional grip material on the top so all really well thought through for all weathers! We did the Storytime Peaky Bunnies, and the Big Hat craft was a big hit. They’re also doing a Pesky Bunny egg hunt where you look for 6 letters around the park, with a badge at the end (although we did forget to pop our answers in!) we got the boat ride back to the entrance (this is a really magical part, you could tell why the Boggles have their village there!) My nephew got his very own Mildred Crocklebog from the shop to take home with him, although his one isn’t vegetarian (!!) Not sure when my sister will next be in the UK, and he may well be too old for Bewilderwood in the future so thank you, we made some lovely memories ❤️Hi there Emporiavictoria! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this lovely review of the WILD woods! - GtladyBroxbourne, United Kingdom24 contributionsA good day outBewilderwood is a great family day out probably most suited for under 10's. There's something to do for every age range including adults. The food outlets are a little pricey but have expanded in their vegetarian and vegan options. The show, face painting and crafting all included are great fun. The only downfall is the toilets. It's been extremely badly thought out. The baby change is at the back of 6 toilets and the space between the sinks and toilets is not wide enough for a buggy. On top of that the toilets themselves are not big enough to fit an adult and a child together. It's extremely stressful environment considering it's a theme park aimed at families. If you can manage a day without using the facilities your quids in.Helloo there Gtlady! Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review of the WILD woods! We're soopa glad to hear you all had a fun time exploring the woods and made the most of your day out! We will certainly pass your comments about the toilets facilities to our Boggle Builders and see what we can do to improve them. We hope to see you again sooon! - DebbieBiggleswade, United Kingdom88 contributionsGreat day out for families….do it!We went with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 1 and 4. We had a lovely day. Regardless of other reviews there is much to do. The park (in Norfolk) is wonderful and very well spaced out with so much room for kids to run around. The family did den making, there was climbing on huge structures with slides, bridges, walkways, netting to climb. There are mazes with structures within them. There is face painting, activities to make items. The food outlets are very reasonably priced and the food we had (real) sausages in a bun (£5) and it was good quality. I use a mobility scooter and was able to get around most of the park on it. I didn’t do the activities as I couldn’t but was able to watch and enjoy everyone else doing it all. A wheelchair would be harder as it’s quite hilly so you need to have someone who is strong enough to push the wheelchair up hills etc. We stayed 4-5 hours and only left because our four year old grandson was absolutely shattered having run, climbed, etc till he was fit to drop. The toilets were fine and we found a wooden hut beside one of the food/picnic areas for breastfeeding Mums to feed in private which also had baby changing tables in it. You can take a picnic but they don’t seem to advertise that they also sell food. All in all a lovely day and we would highly recommend you to go.Hi there Heartinherts! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this lovely review. The Boggles & Twiggles are soopa happy to hear you had a fun time taking part in all the inclooosive activities around the park. We had a day out at Bewilderwood - well, a morning actually, which was plenty of time. The kids enjoyed the slides and zip wires but overall we felt completely ripped off. The park is tired and rather low budget for an entrance fee in excess of £20. I think that even half of that fee would be difficult to justify. The wooden structures were covered in leaves and slippery and my 7 year old fell a couple of times. I saw other children slipping about too. We ended up leaving and finding a nice pub for lunch as the food options - greasy sausage rolls etc. - didn't appeal. Not a terrible day but I wouldn't recommend at that price.

Hi Emma! Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We're sorry to hear the WILD woods didn't quite meet your expectations. Everything from parking, our storytelling shows, crafts, face painting, puzzling park trail sheets, and all other activities are all incloooded in the ticket price so there are no pesky hidden costs. We'll be sure to pass your comments about the food options at the catering outlets to our tip-top Twiggles to review for next season. xx

We had a wonderful time despite the rain and enjoyed the boat trip, mazes, picture hunts, zip wires and lantern crafts.
However, we were very disappointed that all but one slide was closed. We appreciate the health and safety issue, but firstly, we weren't informed of this and secondly, as it is open throughout all seasons, surely by now Bewilderwood could have negotiated some form of cover over the slides to make them more accessible for all weathers. Especially as no discounts are offered.

Hi Jackie! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this soopa feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed all of the freeee activities we have on offer in the WILD woods. Unfortunately with the typical British weather, we can't always plan for when we might need to close our slides for the safety of our WILD explorers. Covering all of our slides is something we are looking into, we hope to see you at our brand-new Christmas event. Toodle-oo! xx

The place I am going to be reviewing is brilliant Berwilderwood in Cheshire I visited their in 2023 on a Tuesday in February it was the best place ever!
Bewilderwood is always amazing you can go on the long amazingly long zip wires they are so fun.The Sky maize (Maize in the sky) gives you an amazing view of all the trails it’s right next to the playground. The den building area is an area just for building dens it is so fun to do as a family activity all of it is on the long curvy trails. The slides are so long and slippery they are sure to make you scream. That’s not all there’s treasure hunts. There’s way more.
My favourite part was definitely the zip wires and food! Let’s start which why I love the zip wires. I love them because they are fast and so long you even have to go up steps to get up to them! You can race each over! ( The left one always wins.) The food is phenomenal the bread is fluffy inside and the grapes are like candy floss.
I give Bewillderwood 5 stars it was Amazing I really recommend Berwilderwood who wouldn’t go believe me!

We visited whilst holidaying in Norfolk and had an absolutely brilliant day! This place is fantastic! We had three kids with us 5,4 and almost 2 and they had a great time as did us older kids! We loved that adults were encouraged to play and climb and slide just as the kids were! It was great to see everything was included as well - the boat ride, shows, face painting and crafts!
All the staff were friendly and very enthusiastic about the wood and its inhabitants and really helped the kids get involved with the activities.
Would highly recommend Bewilderwood!

Really well made and beautifully maintained activities with great staff ( and enough of them!) on hand to supervise the children. Lots of good seating for sitting and watching if not taking part, food places at decent prices, excellent range of activities for kids of ages. Ours were 6 & 10 and they really enjoyed it - especially the zipwires and the drop slides! We were there about 3 hours, but if you’re planning to take part in the storytelling you could be there longer. Would be doable in the rain - just take the right clothing!

Our family 3 kids mum and dad and nanny visited today for the first time and must say we had a wonderful time lots to see and do. A wonderful mix of activities for all ages,we spent the whole day here and the kids were so enthralled that we decided to buy the annual passes .To those few naysayers that moan about the price of admission I can only assume that they read the daily mail and regularly write letters of complaint to their local MPs.
My kids aged 2,3 and 8 had a ball and the sound of them belly laughing at some of our adventures was worth the admission price alone . Life is what you make of it and here you can be as big a kid as your little ones. We all left tired but already looking forward to our next visit. In a world of video games and couch potatoes it's a breath of fresh air to actually use your imagination and get some exercise.

Huge waste of money. It’s expensive and overpriced. It’s mainly tree house and walkways connecting these called different names to make it sound exciting. You can recreate the experience here for free by doing the following:
1. Find and go to a park with a small zip wire off a small platform (there is a free one I know of so there must be others). Organise a flash mob of 50 other kids to arrive at the same time as you then organise a queue where your kids are at the back. Spend 30 mins watching everyone else have a go before eventually your kids have a go. You stand during that time as to recreate the full experience this is necessary. Ensure the flash mob are making a lot of noise.
2. Find and go to a park with a large slide. Organise a flash mob of 100 other kids to arrive at the same time as you then organise a queue where your kids are at the back. Spend 30 mins watching everyone else have a go before eventually your kids have a go. You stand during that time as to recreate the full experience this is necessary. Ensure the flash mob are making a lot of noise. Ideally this would be alongside the zip wire and other flash mob
3. Find and go to a park with a treehouse and walkway. Organise a flash mob of 150 other kids to arrive at the same time as your kids then encourage everyone to run around it at once making as much noise as possible. You stand during that time as to recreate the full experience this is necessary. For the full immersive experience this would be alongside or close to the other 2 flash mobs.
4. Find a small wood. Organise a flash mob of twice or three times the amount of people to trees and arrive as a family at the same time instructing everyone to make as much noise as possible and throw litter everywhere. For the full experience create a map that makes no sense and call random areas random names such as ‘the tangled trees’. Walk around this wood for 2~3 hours ideally around the same paths over and over whilst flash mob walk in different directions in front of you
5. Find a local boat ride on a pond or boating lake. This may cost a small amount. Organise a flash mob of 50 people to arrive and queue in front of you. Ensure the boat ride lasts only 7 mins and get someone to point out things on the side of the pond.
That is basically what bewilderwood is. Better to spend money on something else. It was so noisy in the woods I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with sensory issues. We won’t be returning.

Was a bit apprehensive because of the price, however given that it was a glorious day, all in all it made a great specticle.
Took my 11 year old daughter and she had a blast. We came away and said that it was one of the best days of the holiday.
We had our lunch here and had the Chilli. Reasonably priced and very tasty.
Cannot praise the staff enough, all very well organised and were helping on many of the activities.
All in all, a very pleasant experience and would have no issues about going back.

hi all, can anybody tell me if you are allowed out of the park to get your picnic lunch. to bring back in.

We take our picnic with us in a rucksack as we're often somewhere out of the way when hunger strikes.
At BeWILDerwood there is nothing you can’t even do with out an employee don’t recommend for over 10 year old

well ,we went when it was drizzling and it was fine but as there are slides ,walkways up high and rope slides ,trails to follow not sure grandchildren(or us !) would have enjoyed it in the pouring rain as there is no indoor cover.

How long should we allow for this attraction? Family of 4, kids 9 and 7. Is it a full day or half? Thanks

Hi I was looking on visiting here with my 3 and a half yr old and 18 month old sons but have also come across the roar dinosaur park. Just wanted to get feedback on what one out of the two you would recommend if you have been to both.

I’d say the dinosaur park for that age. Though I’m sure they would enjoy both. Bewilderwood has more challenging play areas, bigger gaps when climbing the structures etc. Much more suited to children of school age rather than toddlers. If you go to the dinosaur park take the little ones swimwear and a towel if it’s nice. There’s a little splash area they would love. Also long sleeved trousers and top for the indoor play area.
