Skied here on a Whiteroom Tour, a great day. While only a small resort the skiing was very good and the off piste skiing was untouched. Highly recommend for a day or more.

Quiet little ski filed that has plenty to offer for snowboarders. There's some off piste areas which my family of upper level snow boarders liked. Need to organise transport by bus the day before (before 17:00) or you could be up for a 5000Yen taxi...More

This is a small ski field on the edge of Asahikawa and is mainly used by locals and domestic tourists. Advanced riders and skiers will be bored silly so dont even bother. Go to Furano where the snow is just as good or better and...More

No on-mountain accomodation so you need to get a lift or bus there. Lots of ski school around the day lodge and lower front slopes but there is terrain to be found if you head left or right off the top lift.

Visited this morning for a few hours. Located 30 minutes drive from Asahikawa. A number of chairlifts and 1 x 4 seater gondola. Reasonably busy, however only had to wait a few minutes for the gondola. Reasonably priced and easy to hire gear. Has a...More

Most of the groomed areas in this resort are open and wide and excellent for the beginner and intermediate skier. The tree skiing and out of bounds areas are something else again. Lots of open forest and when the powder is plentiful then I would...More

The snow wasn't the legendary Hokkaido powder we'd dreamed about but it was pretty darned good. The far left chair has great tree runs to the left and right of the course (that's what the Japanese call a ski run). It was plenty fun and...More

Kamui Links has some of the best tree lines I can remember riding... ever. Near chair 5 especially; or basically pick any line just off a piste and have at it. It must be in some perfect zone that trees just don't grow as thick...More

No problem with rentals ( skis, goggles, gloves, helmets), We went there last December and rented our gear there which was definitely better and newer than other ski places we have been in Hokkaido and in Japan. There’s a... More
