Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Caveat Emptor - we bought a statue for £250 - the head fell off with the first year. No refund offered as we knew it’d been repaired / clearly a shoddy repair…. They offered to pay £5.99 for some screwfix adhesive. We’ve spent a lot of money here in the past - we won’t be going back.

I saw 3 beautiful garden lamps on the website and contacted the guys at Reclaimed World. I bought the lamps and they arranged for them to be delivered - the service
was excellent. They are polite, business like and extremely helpful and friendly. We now have the prettiest lamps which are in excellent condition for their age. We are delighted and would thoroughly recommend Reclaimed World to everyone. Our ambition is to go to visit their large premises and browse around to find our next purchase. Keep safe and well everyone.

This was an online transaction due to the current lockdown.
First time dealing with Reclaimed World and the experience couldn't have been better - quality stock, very friendly staff and fast delivery.
Highly recommended.

Everything you want here in the way of reclaimed stuff. You can buy anything from a couple of aircraft seats through to big big bags of cobblestones and everything inbetween. A lot of outdoor stuff but also some fine antique halls. Just watch out because there are one or two reproductions Only one or two) there BUT just ask as they have very helpful staff there. Ceratinly this is a fantastic way to spend a few hours just browsing. Would be good if they had a cafe- that would really work

Hi there, thank you very much for your lovely review. We try to make sure we have a good range of products to meet everyone's budgets, so we do stock some reproduction items to compliment our vintage, reclaimed and antique pieces, but we are very honest about this - if you're ever unsure about the age / provenance of any particular item, just ask a member of staff and we'll be very happy to go through all the details with you :-)
Thank you for your suggestion of having a cafe - unfortunately we don't have enough space for this, but we are blessed to be surrounded by several fantastic restaurants, cafes and pubs all within a couple of miles of us, so we'll glad point you in the direction of something delicious next time you're here! Thanks again, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

What a gem of a place Reclaimed World is. The staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There's so many amazing unusual, quirky and unique things. I love that you can find one off items that will make an impact for either inside or outside in the garden. The fairly new 'rooms' to look around are great and the owners have a wonderful sense of style.

I had hoped to find a lovely selection of old stained glass doors and internal reclaimed panelling and architecture… but in the event found this to be a new furniture outlet with many set pieces. Strange mix some funky designs, some things you’d find in a garden centre and some weird items like huge resin horses! Neat and tidy place, we enjoyed exploring but no cafe and no bargains, and we didn’t spend any money.

I went to buy six pitch pine beams, all seven feet long, and was told I would be phoned before the delivery. The driver arrived the next day without the phone call and decided he was going to unload the beams onto the pavement rather than help me get the beams into my garden. The driver - a man not gifted with a sense of shame - even boasted how he had done the same to a gentleman with Parkinsons disease! The beams were clearly not the ones I had chalked on in the presence of Martin, the salesman, at the site, and one was only six feet long and therefore useless. They had other peoples' chalk marks on them so I wonder how many times they had gone through the charade of giving a customer a choice, then loaded the nearest pallet regardless. All in all I feel cheated and short-changed by the staff at Reclaimed World.

i went here with some high hopes and money to spend as i do up my whitegate property - however the range of what they had, and the layout was just poor, i had heard some great things about this place, as i have used reclaimed places before and restorations firms, but i certainly won't be going here again, and i would suggest that you find somewhere else to kill an hour yourself... free parking and entry and it just about kills 45 minutes

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We try to make sure we have a good range of products to meet everyone's budgets, so we do stock some reproduction items to compliment our vintage, reclaimed and antique pieces, but we are very honest about this - if you're ever unsure about the age / provenance of any particular item, just ask a member of staff and we'll be very happy to go through all the details with you. I think it's very unfair to suggest that we try to 'pass off' our newer items as vintage ones, as we are very honest about the origins of all of the stock we carry, but each to their own.

Hello is it dog friendly?
Written 19 February 2024
Hi there, thank you very much for your question, and apologies for our delayed reply. Yes, dogs are indeed very welcome at Reclaimed World. All we ask is that they are not allowed to walk around our indoor showrooms (following an unfortunate incident!), but they can be carried around or any of our staff will be very happy to look after them for you. We have plenty of outdoor spaces which they are very welcome to explore to their hearts content, and we always have water bowls available.

Do you sell antique music boxes
Written 17 August 2018
Hi there, thank you very much for your question, and apologies for our delayed reply. We don't tend to carry music boxes, but if a customer is looking for something specific, we have a 'wants' book into which we will enter your details - we can then keep an eye out for a suitable item when we are out buying, and will call you if we are able to find something.
Hope that helps!
