Lakshminarayan temple was built by Bir Singh Deo around 1662. But due to inadequate maintenance the condition of the temple soon worsened. It was reconstructed by Prithvi Singh during 1793.

We spent more time at this place mesmerized with the beauty and views from the temple as it is located on the cliff.. Very quiet and less popular.. You can sit and enjoy the feel of the place.

Located at one of the higher spots of Orchha, it offers a panoramic view of the city. You can see some lovely wall paintings. The sunset view from here is awesome.

Temple his is own unique architecture and is dedicated to goddess Lakshmi, god of wealth. Far from Ram temple and one will need a ride to visit.
