Dive2gether is a Dutch family business, which was started over 20 years ago in Plakias, on the beautiful south coast of Crete. We offer snorkeling and diving activities for all ages, every day. Join us for an introduction dive in our calm bay and explore the underwater world, or come along for a day on the boat to do some fantastic dives, or come to our family adventure trip to the waterfalls! We offer something for everyone, focusing very much on providing high quality, professional activities combined with a lot of fun! We will make sure you will have an unforgettable holiday!

What a great professional team. What started as a service on my dive mask. ( for free even after 4 years) ended with a test dive. A whole New world Just openen upfor me. Snorkelen was wonderwel but this is far more. Tanks to dive2gether. I highly recommend this diving school

Great Company for Diving

My wife and I booked this a couple days in advance and it was totally worth it. We didn’t realize but we were the first to ever book off of TripAdvisor. The owner reached out to us on WhatsApp and provided all the information we needed. We had Mar as our dive instructor and she was nothing less of great. Highly recommend going with this company. Very professional and nice people!

Excellent dive center in the right side of the island for divers

We were a family group of 9 members, out of them 7 recreational divers.
We choose Plakias as a base for our vacation due to the promise of very good visibility and protected coast line.
We then choose Dive2ghether and basically rely on their team to organize our holiday.
This turned out to be an excellent decision.
Pre holiday:Very fast and clear responses to all our questions, they arranged for us a very nice apartment complex , transportation from/to airport, etc.
We felt that we got fair, clear, and transparent pricing.
During the holiday: We met the most serious, professional, and dedicated diving center I ever saw.
Dive sessions were very efficiently organized, providing modern equipment and plenty of staff, but above all, the spirit and comitement of the team made the difference.
Very thorough refresh dive and overall safety awareness. Besides that, an enthusiastic team of guides and a large team of marine biologists made our dives very interesting.
As strong wind impeded us from sailing one day, a "plan b" was in place, and it was perfect.
Besides that, social and educational activities are offered on a weekly basis. Don't miss it.
Post dive:
As we made some changes during the dives, we were very fairly refunded, and we got high-quality pictures at a fair price.

All in all , if you are looking for a professional , serious, efficient, and enthusiastic diving center, look no further, dive2gether is your place.

A well-oiled machine where you feel like one of the moving parts

Im so glad I completed my Advanced Open Water at Dive2gether. Plakias, Crete is a wonderful habitat to dive in.

It was a joy to see this busy dive centre & school in action. Regardless of whether people were enrolled in the boot camp, building up certification, diving for the day or snorkelling, it felt like a big group working cohesively. There is a 9am briefing that is for everyone - you get a sense of all that is on offer and who is doing what. I love going “backstage” to the garden to get involved in the teamwork loading the gear into your bag/crate/truck, unpacking it on the beach and/or loading it onto the boat (by the way the loading part is optional if you’re not keen on heavy lifting, but I wanted to get involved). You set up your own gear (with hands-on help from the experts at all time), pack it up at the dive site, clean it at the shop, and pack it up for the next day’s dive. The last few dive centres I’ve been to on holiday did this all for me and I felt I was out of practice. I really enjoyed learning all the inner workings of what it takes to set up a successful boat dive.

Everyone is super professional and also enthusiastic and fun. Instructor Bart got me thinking like a diver again, and I came out of the first dive day with loads more confidence.
Niek’s passion for diving was contagious, and I liked hearing his personal preference of not using noise makers unless necessary as it disrupts the natural soundscape- I totally get that now (but hadn’t considered it before). Such a great learning experience completing my last three training dives with him.
Boot camp diver Lauren assisted my training and was super helpful. I appreciated her attention to detail and giving me tips throughout, no matter how big or small. Thanks for looking out for me and making sure I got the skills right!

The team was very knowledgeable of the marine wildlife and ecology too.Huge bonus!

This place is a well-oiled machine where you feel like one of the moving parts. Holy sea- I just realised something: No wonder they named it dive2gether!

You are spot on: our name is Dive2gether, and we also like to do the organisation all2gether! As you say, it's not a must to carry bags or wash the equipment, but let's join in the organisation and do it 2gether. This way, everyone is part of the fun, whether you are diving with us or coming along as a friend or family member! Lauren went on with her Divemaster course and has completed it by now with amazing scores! It's super to receive such compliments when being welcomed into the professional world of divers. Niek and Bart will be brought up to speed as well by your compliments concerning their teaching. Thank you for being a part of our program, being so appreciative of exactly what we try to achieve in our programs and becoming a fantastic Advanced Open Water Diver. This was our third visit to D2g, and the first for 4 years. Nice to report that D2g is as professional, safe and welcoming as ever, with excellent flexibility re our requirements and equipment needs. We did a 2 dive Tune-up followed by a 2-dive boat dive, which was appropriate after 4 years away. Both of us were very impressed with our guides Will and Vanessa for their patience, understanding and above all calm when events needed repeating or things changed. Both of them, imho, will make very good dive instructors in the future. And a big 👍 on the boat dive to Bart for his humour and enthusiasm and to Captain Thjis for his briefings and help during the boat dive. And for his music choices. I can also recommend the (free) lectures to raise awareness of the ocean. In particular Hiding in Plain Sight by Marie-Claire has taught me to eat a lot less Tuna..! Many thanks to all. I had quitted diving for almost 20 years due to some awkward experiences when I was young. After a few unsuccessful attempts to restart, my partner (a passionate scuba diver) convinced me to try for the last time, as he was certain that D2g was the best choice. He was absolutely right, as I finally could dive safely supported by instructors Bart and Thjis, whom I really recommend.

Also, the sense of Community I have experienced is unparalled and I am grateful to every single person I interacted with. Literally, I can't wait to come back and dive in again.

Superb diving school and marine biology course.

If you want to learn to dive or improve your diving, this is the place to go. I have dived at many sites and schools around the world and this is the best bar none - serious. The quality is consistently good year on year, the instructors are friendly and highly knowledgeable and the environment is one of utter professionalism and friendship. It is more than just a dive school. We did the Marine Biology course this year which was an utter revelation. We learnt so much about the complex ecosystem that is our sea and why how we behave towards it matters so much. If you are thinking about going on a diving holiday and Crete is on your list, there is no need to go further - and I guarantee you will be back!

Hi! It’s always lovely when you both are back in Plakias. Happy to see that after a little break of a few years, we could see you back for the 10th(!) visit to Plakias! The Marine biology is something that has been developing over the past years and leads to great activities, interesting weekly presentations and good understanding of the eco systems within the team and therefore a quality experience.
