Spent another half a dozen nights here during a 3 week visit to Plakias. The food never fails. Such a lovely setting with very nice house wine. The home-cooked specials change every day and Giorgos gives you a run down on all the ingredients and fabulous they are too. This place is well worth a drive or taxi ride as... More

Damnoni Beach is a lovely sandy beach with crystal blue water, but is very busy. You can park here then walk around to several other beaches which are smaller. Lots of good quality taverna's around as well.

One of the best beaches in the area. Gentle sloping sandy beach. Lots of facilities and tavernas. Sun beds and umbrellas 5 Euros for 2 beds. A beautiful surrounding countyside.

Great location. Easy to get to many attractions. Beautiful taverns with good food. Romantic. Recommend Mythos apartments for lodging.

Busy bustling beach, but if you walk eastwards it becomes quieter. Lots of watersport activities available.

This is a nice beach, suitable for families, elderly and all the rest. 5 € for sunbeds and umbrella, free parking, sandy beach with some rocks in the water though. You'll see easily what is the best place to take. In late September - early October much less people and still very warm water.

Okay, rocky beach with a slightly poorer access to the sea. Sea snorkeling with water sports. Good for family

You can rent a set of sun chairs with umbrella for 5 euro. Shower is also there, but no toilet. Two taverns are right on the beach. We tried one, good food (just watch out for the frozen seafood items, such ad prawns, mussels and squid). The beach is sandy with small gravel, water is clear, nice for swimming.
