We saw a children's play here and I was impressed with the place. It was in keeping with it's history and character of the old town Van Buren look.

We attended the Gene Watson Concert on Junkfest weekend. The Opera House is gorgeous with the beautiful restored wood and brass. Our comfortable fourth-row seat was located just perfect to the stage. Although I truly doubt there is a "bad seat" in the house. Van...More

The children’s performance was fabulous! Obviously well ran acting group where each child got to participate in very positive ways. The stage set up, building itself and of course, and production for this child performance was top notch. Would certainly recommend other events at this...More

The King Opera House has had many places & movies over the years. It has been beautifully restored & you would enjoy any activity that you could see there.

Enjoyed a short film about history of Van Buren in a beautifully restored opera house. Must be a best kept secret. It was free, clean and cool inside. Won't be a secret for long..

What a beautiful building available for community use. This building that was once a theater not is used for local entertainment events such as plays, concerts and pageants. The architect is stunning.

If you get a chance to see a show at this Opera House, don't miss the opportunity. You will be delighted by the mostly original woodwork, seating, and stage. Entering, you feel like you are stepping back in time, and if that doesn't impress you,...More

This is a restored opera house in likeness to Fords Theater yet smaller. Still in use today, bringing back a golden age of entertainment. This is a must see when in Van Buren.
