About
This place is temporarily closed. Can Prunera was built between 1904 and 1911. Nothing is known about its author, although two hypothesis exist: according to one of them, it was Joan Rubio i Bellver (1870-1952), a Catalan architect who at that time was working on the facades of Saint Bartholomew Church and the Bank of Soller headquarters, but there is no documental evidence of it. Another hypothesis attributes it to local builders.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful house full of modern art, including Picasso, Miro and sketches by the likes of Toulouse Lautrec, Degas and others. Very interesting building, plus a nice little garden with sculptures. A calm oasis away from the busyness of Soller. 6 euros entry and worth the ticket price.

The place place is amazing, full of character with some exquisite Miro pieces. The art deco furniture and design are also excellent.

The building here is the star, a beautiful example of early 20th C Spanish architecture, with tiled floors , glazed wooden doors in panelled rooms. The art was not to our taste, but, my, the building......

Really worthwhile interesting visit to this modernist house. Had been lived in by local family until 2009 when it was changed to a museum. Many of the interior rooms furnished as they were- original doors and floors. Also works of art by local artists including Miro. Reduced admission of 3eur for over 65's. Very glad we went.

We tried to visit last year however it had been closed as it was a Monday. We’re so glad we travelled specifically to Soller to visit as it was well worth the trip. The house is amazing and the audio guide very worth the 1€! We hadn’t realised the house itself was som interesting. The art itself was amazing and underrated . So many masters . We’ll be back to visit next year on our annual trip as it’s so beautiful and I’m sure we’ll see different things next year. Thankyou

We had walked past this building a number of times and eventually decided to go inside. We were so glad we did as the house was really interesting. It was fascinating to see how it would have looked many, many years ago and to view the artwork too.

I had not expected this: a gorgeous modernist building, amazing architecture & design.

And then a truly excellent collection of art.

If you are in Majorca definitely worth a visit.

Fascinating combination of museum and gallery. Enjoyed the architecture and the information about the building's history, and the artwork and exhibitions. The Pep Guerrero exhibition was a particular treat.
