Had a great trip with RRE, Justin suggested some excellent routes to warm up that perfectly matched my level of skills and inspired more confidence, so later on we did some more challenging routes that were also great fun. Highly recommended!

Had a great climbing day near Valldemossa. We started the session on morning and finished around 13:00 before it got too hot. The guide was very helpful and we climbed variety of routes with varying difficulties.

Had a lovely time climbing with Justin. Very good communication and organisation leading up to it, and accommodating to our needs. Relaxed and confident teaching style. Knowledgeable about the local climbing and conditions. Thanks very much

We had a morning sport climbing with Justin for two, which turned out to be closer to a full day. Justin was very generous with his time, and the price was very reasonable. Justin was professional and knowledgable and tailored the morning to suit our needs, but also suitably laid back and easy to spend time with. We are competent with indoor climbing, but wanted an introduction to sport climbing outdoors. Justin gave us to skills to go out and sport climb outdoors ourselves (and taught us to use a grigri rather than an xtc belay), and was able to rent us the necessary gear that we were missing (rope and quickdraws) to go out and climb ourselves for the next few days.

Having sporadically seconded for many years, I was keen to push on and learn the skills to actually lead a climb. My folks pushed this yearning and bought me a two day, outdoor course for a *significant* birthday present! Justin was a superb guide, providing the instruction, confidence and motivation to safely lead my first two climbs. A sense of real achievement and full kudos to the expertise, easy going manner and humour that Justin brought to the crag. I´d wholeheartedly recommend Justin and Rock & Ride for helping develop your climbing technique and confidence. A great couple of days of learning.

I had a great morning rock climbing with Sam, not only did she pick out great routes for me that were suitable for my level and in the shade, she also taught me how to safely climb outdoors by myself in the future. If you are in Mallorca, definitely use this place to climb!

We have used Rock and Ride a couple of times on different trips to Mallorca and each one has been excellent. On our first trip, Sam led us up the multi-pitch Albahida ridge which was amazing. More recently we have had a private course with Sam to enable us to climb the sports routes on the island on our own. Sam's instruction was fantastic and left us feeling very confident climbing on our own. After the climbing sessions Sam has also been a great source of advice on good spots to go to on the island.
In addition, Sam is great company so the trips are always fun with good conversation and fantastic stories about all the awesome things Sam has done in the climbing / mountaineering / exploration world!
We'll definitely be back climbing with Rock & Ride soon!

Sam took us out rock climbing, we had never been before. She was so professional but so easy to get along with. We were up the side of the mountain in no time! Perfect day out, can’t recommend them enough!!!! (Unfortunately it won’t let me upload any photos)

I am mostly an indoor rock climber, but I was excited to try climbing outdoors during my trip to Mallorca. From the get-go, Justin and Sam were responsive to emails and tried to pick out a good spot for climbing in the winter.
On the day of the trip, Justin picked me up from a local bus station in Palma (as I didn't have a car), and we decided to change locations because it was warmer than expected. Justin was extremely knowledgeable and patiently walked me through lead belaying with a grigri (used an ATC prior), the process of safely cleaning a route, and route beta when I asked for it. He recommended climbs based on what I wanted to get out of the session. I was able to top rope several beautiful routes, as well as lead and clean my first outdoor route!
I had mentioned that I was going on a hike in Valdemossa the next day. After climbing, Justin drove me to the town center and pointed out the start of the hike, which was generally tricky for most people to find.
I greatly appreciate how Rock and Ride Mallorca went above and beyond to make sure my entire experience in Mallorca was great, not just the rock climbing. Justin was kind, highly competent, and an interesting person to talk to in between belays. I highly recommend Rock and Ride Mallorca!

I contacted multiple tour/guide companies to work out a couple of days of private outings on Mallorca, and Justin was most responsive, articulate, flexible and accommodating in planning the schedule out. First day was supposed to be rock climbing on the north end of the island, but weather was not ideal. Justin was able to find drier spot closer to La Palma and still make it happen for us. Once at the crag, he was a great instructor, patiently teaching two novices basic skills in progressive manner, allowing us to have both success and fun! Second day, we were going to hike up one of the higher peaks on the island, but my heart condition popped up and made such a hike difficult. His local guide, Sergio, was also very accommodating and changed the destination that was easier but still had lots of great views. Sergio is a highly trained guide with multiple guide licenses and it showed in his choosing level of activity that was more appropriate for my health condition that day. Both Justin and Sergio had giving us the best possible experience in mind, and we truly appreciated it. I highly, highly recommend them!!

Hello, yes it is! we have had many novice climbers. We would recommend a half day 4 hours as sufficient time.
