This looked very closed when we were there last week. Just like the rest of Garachico's shore area, it was fenced off with hoardings while reconstruction works after the big winter storm proceeded. From what we could see from the street, the pools looked relatively...More

There were lots of visitors walking around the pools but we saw nobody actually swimming probably because it was December, the water was cold and actually quite rough even in the pools as the waves crashed against the outside and sent water movements inside the...More

nice little harbor front area, tastefully done, and when we were there a little nativity on the opposite cliffs as well. Nice to sit and relax, with good views back towards the lido area and town, (which is lovely and worth a walk around). Great...More

The harbour was filled in by lava and these pools remain. It is an interesting bit of history. On the day of our visit the sea was rough and the area was closed off but the local town in great for a short visit with...More

I never had a chance to actually swim in these natural swimming pools as it’s usually too windy when I’m here, but this is a great place to enjoy sunset.

The natural pools were closed off. Seems to be due to the recent storm as recent reviews on here indicate it was open. You can swim and snorkel in the bay 200m round the coast and it's very lovely. Possible not suitable for non swimmers...More

October might not be the best time to try to swim there, but it is a spectacular view. We took some really great pictures here. I wish I could try it out during the summer.

These rock pools are accessed by paths and are used by local and visitors alike. The pools are protected from the strong waves although there are tidal surges. There is also a normal swimming pool close by if you are not a confident swimmer. There...More

These naturally formed tidal pools get a lot of active surf action and surges. If you can brave the rocks and water and are a decent swimmer, you can enjoy a great time floating amidst a naturally beautiful setting. We opted to watch a dozen...More

After some days on the beach we were happy to have some diversity! Some concrete walkways, be careful not to slip. They have different pools, one especially for kids. Some cliffs you are allowed to jump off which is a lot of fun!

If it is open for swimming, depends on weather and tide. It can be closed on short notice if the life guards say so. But since it is already quite cold in summer, I could imagine that it is even colder in winter, and you may... More
