When I heard that the cave was a replica and not the real cave, I wasn't concerned. However The cave experience was nothing like being in a real cave, unless a cave is air-conditioned and climate controlled with lights everywhere. The experience is challenging for...More

The museum is free and very interactive for children. The entrance to the new cave (reproduction of the original) is fun and only 3€. The facilities are good, enough free parking space and a nice park to walk with beautiful views. I would highly recommend...More

Got tickets online so skip the line and go to the main museum desk. Cave reconstruction was authentic. Read ahead if you speak English so you have the background. Ask about free tickets if you are retired. May be free.

I do agree with other reviewers who feel that the reproduction cave lacks atmosphere. That said one needs to appreciate that the real cave needs to be protected so perhaps a rather artificial glimpse is better than none.

This attraction is a facsimile of the real caves a few yards away but have been created to save the original one. It feels like a cave and depicts everything found in the real one.

My first visit to the Caves was in 1972. The Museum is OK but lacks a lot in resembling the actual Caves. The hike up from the town was bucolic and pretty. I wished the Museum had been better. The thrill for me was going...More
